Okay, I am used to touring at off peak times. I am considering heading to WDW the day after Thanksgiving for a 6 day stay. We just can't pull #1 DD out of school for a whole week anymore. If we go into it knowing Fri-Sun will be crazy, but then Mon-Wed will be manageable then we'll be okay I guess.

For those who have been, just how bad is it? :crazy2:  :crazy2:

I should mention we are planning 3 trips w/in 12 months, Aug. 06, Nov. 06 and Aug. 07; so we will not need to be commando at all. Also, for Nov. it will be a girls only trip, me and the 3 Princesses, (7, 9, 13 at the time).

Sunday afternoon the crowds will get noticably smaller as everyone is leaving. Monday through Wednesday you'll have no problems.

We were there the week of Thanksgiving and then the whole week after in 2005 and the crowd levels were very low for both weeks. I think you will be fine the day after Thanksgiving. We went to Epcot that day and it was not crowded at all. The nice thing about going then too is that the Christmas decorations will be up. We went to MVMCP a few days after Thanksgiving and had the MK to ourselves. We also went to the Candleight Processional and there was seating left after it started.

It's a great time to be there and I didn't think the weekend folowing Thanksgiving was crowded at all. :goodvibes

Make sure to bring warm clothes. A lot of people have to leave the parks because they are not prepared for the cold. That can be to your advantage if you can stay in the park because you brought the proper clothes. In the evenings of those two weeks it sometimes got down in the 40's!
