Mason had a GREAT time at his party!! He and his friends played camp games (relay races, tug of war, etc.); soccer and basketball...then they ate pizza, chips, candy and cake!!

FYI - I just cancelled a Palo brunch for 2 for Thursday. The time slot was 11:30-1:30. My SIL didn't seem that interested in going, so I'm not going to argue with her.

I had to book my SIL's table separate from our table, so I'm glad this didn't mess up our reservation.

Hey all!!!!! Well....sorry to say.....you lost a Turkey, due to Allis schedule at school we had to switch to the 11/24 Eastern! Jessica also has an open house at Syracuse University that Friday and Saturday that she realy wanted to go to with Kim......I'll still ALWAYS be a turkey first......I think I look better in green than Yellow.....LOL

Happy 40th Laura! I just turned in May...40 was easy...for some reason 29 was hard...don't know what I was thinking.

Gina, it's a great way to celebrate your birthday and give your dad an extra special hug for all the father's days at the same time. I took DH (aka Goofy) on a cruise for his 40th and we had a marvelous time! I will warn you though...cruising is addictive!

Chuck, I think I remember Lisa mentioning the same. She'd stated on THIS thread (which began in March 06) that Thanksgiving 06 only got to about 4 pages! Luck of the draw, I guess. Rob and I were part of a somewhat active thread May 04, but we didn't really participate in anything which drew us together as a group (no shirts, door signs.) We did meet on 'secret deck 7' before the sailaway and took a group photo.

I can't wait for the 't-shirt' meet-up! It DOES help build a camaraderie among DISboarders. Just seeing all of us together in the same shirt the first day will help to make us instantly recognizable to one another the rest of the week.

I know! I made reservations for her and her DH, in hopes that she would be excited about it, but since they don't "get" it, I figure her reservation might as well go to someone who will really appreciate Palo. I'm excited to try Palo for the first time with my DH and MIL.

Great news on the number of shirts!!!

Wendy - my kids enjoy taking a few pins each trip to trade. We purchased a TON years ago when the Disney stores were selling them on clearance. I'm guessing that the ship will have a special Thanksgiving pin just like at the parks that day?

I know there are a few of us who've already requested to be seated together for dinner.

Our friend 'Lampskies' (who just left us) , was able to request all of Turkey Day 05 DISboarders to be seated in the same area of the dining rooms. (This was for those of us who had late dining, which most of us did.)

I'd thought about doing the same. (It was another way to get together more. ) I think a majority of us here have late dining?

If any of you/us would all like to be seated in the same dining area, PM to me with your confirmation number and name (as listed on the reservation.) I will then call DCL and ask them to 'link' all of our dining reservations together. We had a great time in the dining rooms with all of our tables close by!

It is NECESSARY for me to have the confirmation numbers for DCL to 'link' the reservations together. And, while there are no guarantees with the seating, we (Rob, Rachel and I) haven't been disappointed yet.

So, let's all try to get together for dinner each night! Folks, send those names and confirmation numbers to Mickeyhugger now!

Laura, I think it's possible. We had several large groups on the 05 sailing (grandparents and families, etc.) I don't know how it works w/requesting a server though. We definitely had a favorite. His name was Plamen, but I don't know what his rotation is.

I wish I could've gotten that brunch reservation. I went to the DCL site just to see if any had opened. And it still showed none available.I'm still going to check when I board. Thanks for giving me hope. Maybe others will cancel, too. Melinda
