Hope ya'all are having a great weekend!! I am awake so early on a sunday morning b/c Mason is awake and felt the need to wake me up!! 2 of Mason's cousins are coming over today and spending the night because my sister and her husband are going to drive to Orlando to see the Arctic Monkeys. The cousins are coming over at 11:30 am. Mason woke up at 6 am because he is soooo looking forward to his visit!!

This is the same way I am the saturday morning that we embark on the Disney Magic!!!!

I've been reading some of the live trip reports from the Magic's Trans Atlantic cruise. It sounds like 6 solid days at sea are getting to be a bit too much for some folks! I can't wait to hear of the Europe adventures for the Magic.

Could you provide the link? I've searched the Meets thread, and still can't find it.

I know that so many days at sea can be too much for people. I wouldn't mind a lot of sea days, as long as they're not in a row. One can only do so much for so many days at sea. It's the main reason we decided against the Panama Canal sailing. We'd love to visit the ports, but it's just too many days of not being able to set foot off the ship.

Lisa, what are the 'Arctic Monkeys?' I hope Mason has a great time with his cousins!

Ok now that Wille and Lampy have jumped ship and are on Captain Mickey's black list Lets do a quick roll call and see who is still sailing Post back if you are still cruising and I will build a spreed sheet and see what the total is.

Nine St. Louisans are still in: Me, DH, brother and sister-in-law and their five kids: DS-20, DD-18, DS-12, DS-10, and DD-5.

Hi everyone!! Have a great long weekend!! This morning we are going to our nephew's elementary school graduation and then we are heading up to WDW for the weekend!! In less than 6 months we will all be together on the Magic !!

I hope everyone had a very nice long weekend!! We just got home from WDW. I love being at WDW!!! We were very lucky--the weather was great--not too hot, not too rainy and breezy. The parks were great, Mason was finally tall enough for Rock-n-Roller Coaster!! He loved it!!!

We are looking forward to the Magical Turkey Cruise in November!!

Rock-n-roller Coaster is Rachel's and my favorite ride. We hope to pull of a trip in Jan.08 if her grades are good enough to pull her out of schoolfor a week.

Leah used to hate roller coasters. We took her on RnR on her first trip in 2003. I thought she would be scared and mad at us at the end of the ride, but she had a huge grin and wanted to ride it again!

We may go for a few days in early August to meet some other DISers. One is a friend from Scotland who I've been DISsing with for 3 years, so I couldn't pass up the chance to meet her!

Hi all. This is Charlie Goddard. I was on the 2005 cruise with my wife, at least I think it was 2005 maybe 2004. I saw this thread and wanted to say hi to the greatest fellow cruisers I have ever cruised with. I wish I could be with you, but lots has happened to me since that cruise. If you don't mind, I will live through you guys and read and participate in this thread. Very briefly, my wife left me and we are getting a divorce.

Hopefully this time you guys will get to go to the ports. Remember we didn't get to cozumel or the other port. I will be excited to read what is already written and what will be written.

Yes, Rob and I remember you very well. (We saw you finishing at Palo brunch as we were being seated.) I also remember how we didn't make it to Grand Cayman. (It was only about the 4th time DCL had to cancel that port due to weather. We also happened to be on the 2nd. )

I'm so sorry to read about your marital troubles. I'm sure it must be very hard for you right now. Please come and post here often. Who knows? Maybe there'll be another DCL cruise for you in the future. Let us know how you're doing.

I'm sure Rachel's grades will be great!! January is one of our favorite times at WDW--cool weather and no crowds!! We went MLK weekend this year and it was great!! Mason wasn't tall enough for r-n-roller coaster in Jan. He must have had a growth spurt b/w Jan and May!!

I'm so sorry to hear about you and Maria. The two of you were so nice to Mason at the port prior to boarding the Magic. I remember ya'all coloring together. You were on the 2005 Magic. That was the year that we all had matching t-shirts w/ the names of the ports and then we didn't make it to the ports listed. However, we did have 2 wonderful days at CC and had a wonderful time with incredible Disers!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I don't want to say anything bad about Maria because I don't want people to get the wrong impression. Yes, it still hurts, but I am moving on. Let's just say that I think it happened for two main reasons and many minor ones. Lack of communication and selfishness. Two things I thought she wasn't. Enough of that tearful talk.

Lisa, I enjoyed coloring with Mason. He is a very nice and well-behaved boy. At least with strangers!!!!!

Mickeyhugger (aka Rob) I would love to go on another Disney cruise. Maybe when things settle down and I find a girlfriend, I will Disney baptize her with a cruise!!!

None of you would recognize Maria by the way that she acts now. Physically, she looks the same. As I said, thanks for the kind words.
