TCD - You were the master of picks for the weekend, but I think it is Indi's year and they will take Da Bears. Not that I would be mad if the Bears won, but I have gut feeling it will go the other way. Anyone know the Vegas lines yet - and the over/under? My cousins are going to Vegas for Super Bowl and I want to get my parlay in. It's just $25 but it makes the game more interesting

Frank- I think that you need to make a friendly wager with Lampy. Maybe a Mojito or two. Don't agree to pick up his bar tab-make sure you are specific about how many drinks are involved-or you will be in trouble. The man holds the record for largest bar tab.

Two questions for you experienced Turkies:

Will the ship be decorated for Christmas already? (ETA - LOL, I just looked up and saw Lampy's picture, so that settles that question!)

Is Key West one of the ports? I just read another thread that said the Thanksgiving cruises skip KW and spend the day at CC instead.

Key West IS a port on the Western but, the week before Thanksgiving there are off shore boat races and thet was why DCL did the double dip at CC. But, it is my understanding that those races are a few weeks earlier this year.....

Parcells retires from the Cowboys....... Oh well, he didn't do that great of a job coaching them this year anyway. But he was pretty good at recognizing talent.

The sorry thing is, Sean Payton was supposed to take over as head coach of the Cowboys this year when Parcells retired. But the Saints offered him the head job this past season.... our loss! OUCH!

Oh boy that is hard on the eyes.

The reason this photo bothers me so much is that it looks exactly like my mother in law (except maybe her beard is a little thicker and grayish).

O.K. disers....old and new......yes, it is "that time of the year".....yes, our annual pot luck at the club house.......for you "newbies" this is a party for our subdivision for about 200 people.......myslf and a select few friends have "taken over" this event each of the last 6 years......Just to "update" the newbies last years theme was a night of a thousand stars.......and myself and friend were "broke back cowboys"

Lampy - I am starting to notice a theme - Coconuts and Skirt; Pink Ballerina Costume - and now BROKEBACK - Say it isn't so!!!! I see the signature with the wife and kids, so hopefully your cross over is not a full time gig.

I am more than willing to put up a Miller Lite (or for me - anything other than a Miller Lite) on the Superbowl. I was all excited about taking Indy and the Over as a parlay, expecting that it would be 1 or 2 points on the spread and maybe 41 or 42 over/under. Leave it to Vegas to try and get even money on the thing, cause I don't know if Indy will cover the 7 and I don't think it will go above 49. Oh well, I will lay the 7 for any takers (of course we are still 13 days out until the Game, so if the line swings in my favor we will have to renegotiate - and of course if the line goes up, I will still only give 7 - aren't I nice ).

But, you live in SoCal- you can't possibly have a problem with this!

BTW- How desperate are the Oakland Raiders to hire USC's 31 year old assistant coach to be their head coach? I didn't know that Monte Kiffin even had a son who was coaching college football!
