Is this the Indiana version of "CAPTAIN RON"?

HEY WILLIE....I KNOW YOU AREN'T SURPRISED......YA SEE BY MY RIGHT WRIST....YEP, MILLER LITE......... :cool1:

Ron, I am glad to see you back to drinking some good beer, instead of the Genuine Draft nonsense!

I actually drank some Coors Light this summer. But only because a buddy brought over a couple of cases. That stuff went down like water. Kell has been on a Margarita kick. She has a great recipe that takes some of the sour out of the taste. They are dangerous!

OK since we are talking beer. I have a confession to make. I used to be a --------------yes, I hate to admit that I used to drink-------BUDWEISER!! :crazy2:

Of course I was young and irresponsible and I did young and irresponsible things. Like drink Bud.
I played soccer for a team that was sponsored by Anhueser Busch, and they gave us about 5 grand per year and all the Bud we wanted. Soooooo, we drank the heck out of it!

I could use a beer AND margarita right about now. Not for sipping, but to pour over my head! It's HOT in Dallas right now! 29 days of triple-digit temperatures (it will be Sunday, anyway.)

I've already lived through enough 'record heat waves' here to last a lifetime. Oh, to be on a cruise right now, and experience some cooler weather.

We finally had a pool built towards the end of last summer so we could have some 'relief' from the heat. :lmao: It feels like a hot tub. Only in Dallas could one say, 'I WAS going to get in the pool, but it's too hot.' :rotfl2:

Oh, I want a Mickey ice cream bar now. (Hey, what happened to the icon?) Do we really have to wait until Thanksgiving 2007?

Just stopping in to say high to everyone on the thread. Hope all is going well at your end of the world. I'm trying to get motivated to pack for an upcoming cruise in 3 weeks. But I seem to be spending all of my time on the Internet researching instead! :surfweb: I'm trying to figure out how to pack but the rules for the airlines are changing daily. (DH says he'll have a Guiness in Ireland to honor the beer drinkers on this thread...isn't that big of him to force himself to do that on your behalf??? :rolleyes1 )

Cheryl

Willie....my flavor is actually MGD lite but if I go 50 miles south no one carries it....so back to the Miller Lite.....

I too have a "Guiness" story.....we were skiing quite a few years back and after shot and bota bags on the slopes ALL day we went into the lodge....it was late and we ordered the "special" Guiness.....drank a few and remembered the "kick". The next day went back and thought....those weren't bad at all.......had one at noon..............YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! They were much better after about 30 regular beers!!

Where's Doogie been? :confused3

He wrote a review of Atlantis on the DVC board earlier this summer. Other than that, I haven't seen any posts from him.

You really know how to make a person cry, don't you? :sad1:

Oh, to indulge at the Palo brunch. My ultimate favorite..the stollen w/berries, jam and whipped cream. Then, the lemon meringue pie. Not to mention the fabulous pizza. I even like the bunch better than the dinner, which is saying a lot! I love the gnocchi!

Oh well. At least we'll be there in 2007! :sunny:

Priscilla

Priscilla-
I know what you mean about the stollen bread at Palo! We had it on the August cruise. It was to die for!!

I know I just got off the boat but I am ready to get back on it. I think I love the whole planning part of the vacation. :goodvibes

I am searching for a thread for the Dec 3 wonder 4 day that we booked and can only find one with one page! My MY, they need some help! :thumbsup2

Hello everyone from a past 2005 Turkey Cruiser.

Just wanted to say hello and say that we will probably finally be relocating to sunny Florida by mid October.

Been back and forth so many times from NY to Fl that I feel that I should just stay there. Well pretty soon.

As soon as I get down there premanently and get my WDW assignment I'll let all you know where I'll be.

Anyway if you're a FL west coaster and heading to WDW on I -4 wave and say Hi as you pass Lakeland/Kathleen exit.

No cruises schedule for now but you never know. Those Florida Res make fast get aways very convienent.

Best to all my Turkey friends

Kennyk

I'M BACK!!!!!!! Hey all.......we survived!!! Brove down to Bristol friday morning, left here at 9:30 made it to Pigeon Forge in about 10 beers!! :rotfl2: Actually about 5:15......vette got 30+ m.p.g running at about 85...who need one of those "hybreds"......drove around the smokies at night and got up early sat.....you know 8 a.m for Kim......then drove into north carolina, south carolina, west virginia....does anyone know why Tennesse roads that are marked east go west and the west east....oh well thats another story....LOL Race was AWSOME and I think I wore out that C.D. Willie....Country music in a vette I've been told was a "sin"....I guess that wasnt my first and wont be the last....

Hey Kenny, great to see ya checkin in! What type of job at WDW do you think you will be looking at? That will be cool.

Lampy,
you went cruisin the Smokies in the Vette? I can't think why you wouldn't want some country music in tha Smokies.....

You took this trip last year, too, didn't you? Seems like I remember some pics of Kim and the Vette in the mountains..... Oh yeah, and maybe you were in some pics?

Man, I gotta get back on the low carb diet. I have put on the weight this year. Too many good times!
I guess when we get back from Vegas this weekend. Can't be on a diet in the land of buffets. I think there is a city ordinance about that somewhere....

Hi everyone!!

Willie-We hope you and Kelli have a wonderful time in Vegas!! It is one of our favorite places to visit!! Does Kelli know about the trip yet?? Enjoy!! :thumbsup2

Lampskie-We went to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg a few years ago on a family trip. Very fun!!

Ken-Welcome to the thread!! Welcome to the sunshine state! :sunny:

Ok....here we go again...Tropical Storm Ernesto...Schools closed+ Soccer field closed+ Office open = Mason bored :confused3

Lisa and Chuck

Welcome here Kenny.........Ya Willie and Iceman, last year was a cruise, this year we actually had tickets to the Bristol race......We (me and a neighbor) were to take a "private" jet (a steel mills plane that he subs himself to) from a local airport to Alcoa Tenn. He got called to Texas for work and gave me both tickets....well there was NO WAY Kim was getting on a 12 passenger plane!!! So we drove...as it turns out the plane got delayed and we beat those who flew.....good thing we drove, with the plane crash in Kentucky I would have rented a car to brive her back....1789 miles on the car this weekend.....appelation sp? mountains, pigeon forge, black hills etc.....AWSOME weekend for cruising with the top down.....don't know who here is from some of the "back roads" in the Carolinas and Virginia but talk about "deliverence"....got some stories......guess they don't see many "citi folk" in a vette convert.!!! :confused3
