c'mon Ron....let your former birdmates lend me a hand here..... geez, I'm uping there post count for em
you go ron once a turkey always a turkey ha ha ha yeah i made a funny lolI may be a "lurker here".....Just checking in....yes, had to switch do to Alli having finals on the 16th.....I'm still a "turkey" at heart....LOL
i think in the P.J. department ill just pack both in caseBy the way, each cabin does have its own individual temperature control. However, with that said, its not like a hotel where 1 room can be set to "sub-zero" while the other is set to be a "desert."
I think you have a more limited range of temperatures between rooms...or at least we did on RCCL (and thank goodness...I hate sleeping in those sub-zero temperatures Goofy enjoys. Sometimes I think the reason women have hot flashes is because their husbands have destroyed their ability to regulate temperatures)!
As my mom recently pointed out to me, its really nice having hot flashes now that my dad is cold all the time...she gets to get even for having been frozen to death half her life! Ahhhh...justice!![]()

sent my info and thank you again linda ( smile )MINI NAVIGATOR UPDATE-INFORMATION NEEDED!
Okay, Turkey Cruisers! I worked on the lists with everyone last night for the mini navigators, and boy, we are just all over the place with the information and what we are doing! WOW. In the mini-navigator, in the past, I have NOT put the ages of the children in each stateroom, I have listed just names. Generally, our fellow disboarders know the ages of the children they are with before our cruise, and I don't like listing the ages, although I have always felt safe on a Disney Cruise.
What I generally list is the following:
DISBOARD NAME
STATEROOM NUMBER
FIRST NAMES ONLY OF CRUISERS IN EACH STATEROOM
and then I have a column for "Fish Extender" and if NEMO is in that column, that means they are participating in the fish extender exchange.
Based on how I put in the info, I only have that information from the following cruisers:
5infam
Marypoppinsiam
Mickeyhugger
Momof1+2
seaulater
Tinkerbell 99 mom
FOR THE REMAINING CRUISERS, (MOST OF WHOM ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE FISH EXTENDER EXCHANGE) I AM MISSING EITHER NAMES, STATEROOM NUMBERS OR A COMBINATION OF BOTH
So, I have cleared out my PM box. Please PM me the information requested above.
ONE MORE THING:
IF YOU ARE CELEBRATING A WEDDING, ANNIVERSARY, BIRTHDAY OR OTHER SPECIAL OCCASION:
Please PM me the first name of the cruiser in your group and the date, i.e. Susie-birthday November 18, and I will list it in the mini-navigator.
On one of our past cruises, someone in the group was willing to make a magnetic door sign and then secretly late at night before the day, they would go but the sign on the door to surprise them when they got up the next morning.
Anyway, that's my thoughts. I notice that almost everyone is participating in the fish extender exchange. That's great. It is so fun to do that.
Also, someone was asking what fish extenders looked like. There is a whole thread somewhere here on the board with the pictures, but I know that someone recently mentioned that a person by the name of rosa3011 was selling them on Ebay. I looked and she has them pretty cheap. I have the original lime green Mickey one. The gal on ebay calls them shoe holders I think. They are about 6 inches wide or so and maybe 20-24 inches long? I would have to measure mine for sure.
Anyway, just a heads up on what fish extenders are.
Also, a couple of months ago DCL requested that no tape be used on stateroom doors. They are really doing too much to enforce it, but have requested "magnet type" items only as the tape and stuff are ruining the doors and maintenance can't keep up with re-painting them.
Thanks everyone!
cruisemutt im clueless once againOk...this is a question for the Turkeys...you folks are the bird experts.
I was driving in our national forest to work. A police cruiser was following close behind me. There was a wild turkey in the middle of the road and there was really no way for me to avoid it. I hit the dog-gone thing...it went over my hood, over the car and smacked dead center into the windshield of the cop car. He hit his siren and lights...stopped me and gave me a ticket for $150!!!!! Is this legal????? You guys know your turkeys, I'm sure.....please, PLEASE help out here......

Pooh mommy What I ment by get to the port when it opens is they will not open the doors to the cruise terminal until 10am. And the sooner you get there the lower number you get to board. The kids hate to sit around all that time but I like it. They sell snacks and drinks but I put some snacks from home in my bag just in case. You can also pick up your pager at the kids check in table. We will be able to see and meet each other because of the green shirts.![]()

Did this change lately? In January, we still had to get a boarding number. The only people who could board at any time were those in Cats 1-3.
