Thanks to everyone who contributed to the stickies on this board. My mother suffered an injury earlier this year that limits her mobility as well as her ability to stand for more than a few minutes and also walk more than a few minutes at a time, and I was concerned about how much she'd be able to enjoy in the parks.
I had a lot of questions, but didn't need to post a single one of them -- everything was answered in the great stickies and other threads on this forum, and I was able to bring her to the parks with some terrific insight into what to expect and how to make sure she enjoyed the experience.
Also, after reading the reviews here, I went with Apple Scooter. The price was much lower than anyone else I checked, and the service was just fantastic. We had a battery problem one day -- they sent someone to MK with a new battery for her. I know that sounds like a commercial, but it's true. I hope my mother recovered and we don't need a scooter next time I bring her to WDW -- but if I do, I will not hesitate to use Apple.
