Thanks for the kind thoughts and advice

I'd like to thank all that gave me support, advice, and prayers during my father's final days.

He passed away on Monday. I have taken it upon myself to be very involved in helping with the arrangements. One of my brothers and I have been very busy. I don't feel my mother should be racing around at a time like this. The funeral is on Friday and I will be there to support my mother and say goodbye to my father.

I appreciate all the kind words.

I plan on taking care of my mother and paying her back for all she has done over the years. She has raised 5 boys. In the last 3 1/2 years my grandparents(both lived with my parents) and their son have passed away. My grandfather and father were both sick for years. My mother has helped take care of them over the years while at the same time working at a day care.

Needless to say my mother is someone that likes to feel needed and has spent her whole life sacrificing for others. A lot of people think their mom is the best but I feel my mother is just extraordinary. I have told her that now is the time for her to do for herself a little because she has done so much for others. She is a saint and I am not the first to say so. I am going to see to it that she does some things for herself. She really deserves it.

We will all miss my father. He was a really great grandfather. My kids loved him a lot. My love for him will always live.
