I just wanted to say thanks for the great idea you came up with a few weeks before DIS-Con, the DIS-Con buddy idea.

The idea for DIS folks who were going to DIS-Con, to have a buddy (or more) who was not going to be there, and try and pass on and share some of the fun of the week of DIS-Con, was truly a great brain storm, Angie.

It started out a bit slow, but then caught on before DIS-Con started and really took off. A lot of DIS'ers were really creative with what they did for and with their DIS-Con buddies. Some were so very creative, others, like myself, were more subdued, but all were neat. It was great seeing all the things that came out of that one, simple idea of sharing. Just wanted to thank you, Angie.

I had so much fun hearing about what 'I' did at Dis-Con. Hee hee. I still have my Flat Debster. Figmentvi and her daughters really took good care of me.

It was a great idea I didn't participate but enjoyed hearing about all the adventures of the buddies. I think they had a blast! Skuttle even made it on the WDW Xmas parade

I agree. Thank you so much AngieBelle, it really was a great idea. Beanie was my buddy, and not only did we become much closer friends (love ya Beans! ) but she was the most wonderful Buddy, and kept in touch with me a bit while she was in WDW, and then she and her DH John sent me a wonderful package of surprises when they got back. So very sweet.

I couldn't agree more Dan!! Thanks to Angiebelle, I have a wonderful friend in Lynne and couldn't be happier about it!! Had it not been for the Dis Con buddies, I would have missed out on knowing this beautiful person! Thanks Lynne, for being an awesome friend!

It was really neat to talk with the DISers there and learn a little bit about the DISers they represented.

It was really great to hear about the great time that everyone had on "my" KS Ride-A-Thon. And it was very, very generous of my buddy, Poopie, to rack up her cell phone bill so that EVERY SINGLE DISer that was eating lunch that day at DAK could say Hi to me! We actually started sending treats to each other way before DIS CON. I got treats from one of her trips to DL (so great!) and she got a Christmas present that met with nice approval - plus we chatted about all sorts of things in the meantime. Now, I'm working on her package of stuff from my last trip to WDW and she's working on my DIS CON package.
So thank you for getting me connected to another great, generous, and awesome DISer!
