Well, we're finally home!

I'd like to add my thanks to everyone for making this weekend so wonderful!!! It was great to be able to meet so many wonderful friends in person. What a great feeling to be able to look at someone and recongnise them from their pics here on the DIS.

On a pesonal note, I'd really like to thank Laura (DblD) for taking my son under her wing and getting him on so many of the big rides! He had a blast!!! After the storm cleared out the crowds he also managed to ride Matis and Raptor so he was a very happy kid!!!! Unfortunately, they never started Dragster up again that night, so he didn't get to ride it.

What a great group of kids our DIS family has. I was totally impressed with all of them.

I agree. These kids were thrown together and really got along well. I know Andrew enjoyed having Kara and Matthew to do rides with.

It's really amazing how you can throw a group of people, young, old and in between together, and they get along so well! It was a pleasure to watch all of the interaction of the kids!

Carol, I was thinking about you guys- we got home around midnight and the rain made it a real test of stamina. . .

Thanks also to everyone. I'm finally getting time to post. Yesterday was nuts being my first day back to work so posting was going to be a no-no.

Thanks to everyone for making myself and my family feel welcome. I don't get to post much on the riddles but I had met quite a few of you in December and being we were going to be so close to this, I couldn't pass up the chance to meet up again with you all and meet those I hadn't had a chance to meet yet - especially Ranatra (her and I had emailed and pm'd quite a bit in the past and I had always wanted to meet her - what a joy!!!!). Sorry we had to skip breakfast on Sunday but we were outta there by 7am and home by 1 including a grocery stop and lunch. We just so needed to get home - we were ready and tired of being in hotels and the car. Thanks again for all your welcomes and chats and fun!!!!

We've had some Internet connection problems this week due to lightening striking the cable box on the street but I think they've finally got it fixed!

I would also like to thank Bernie for organizing such a wonderful get-together. It was great to see you again ~ what has it been, 3 years since the Toronto Island Meet? Boy time sure has flown!

Thanks Chris for saving a table for us at Damon's. We always seemed to be running behind. Now I'm the one ready first and we have to wait for Dan and Tim to get ready!

The leis and all those lime green toys were the perfect touch to the pool party and very colourful too, John (Yepod)! Thank You!

You must spend hours making all those buttons, John (Towncrier). They are a perfect memento! Thank you so much! What is so funny, is that Rudy is not a Disney fanatic (he's addicted to golf), but he has started wearing Disney pins and is adding his RiddleCon button to his hat!

Laura, the t-shirts turned out fantastic! I didn't get one because I don't usually wear them, but now I wish I had!

All in all it was a wonderful weekend and I enjoyed meeting so many of you. I'll look forward to meeting those of you that I didn't this time, at RiddleCon II.
