Just want to say thank you to all the folks on this board for great information.

We are headed to DW in 13 days...my husband broke his ankle, needed surgery and has to be non-weight bearing for 3 months. We are halfway through those 3 months. We were going to rent a wheelchair but after reading posts, we are going with a scooter instead. I decided he is not strong enough to wheel himself around and I'm certainly not pushing him the whole time! And, we are going with Apple Scooters.

I think he will be able to most all the rides, so it's nice to know he can stop worrying whether he will enjoy himself!

I know you said your husband would be able to ride most of the rides. A couple he might want to be wary of would be space mountain and rock n roller coaster. You sit down deep in the cars and have to climb out...if he can't put weight on one ankle that could be a problem.

Good move going with an ECV.....they have been a lifesaver for me.
