Thank you.....Thank you VWL tree #4

We just got back 2 nights ago from a 10 day trip. 1ngt AKL(deluxe) 1 ngt AKL(concierge) and 7 nights VWL(1bdrm)
I just wanted to tell everyone involved in the bringing of the tree's that it was the highlight of my childrens vacation.
On Nov 30 I had my wife take the kids to the boat dock(DS9 - DD 7), I went to the front desk picked up the tree and 4-5 presents for the kids and wife then set the tree up, wrapped the presents put them under the tree and then took the family to MVMCP. We got back around 1:00am and when the kids opened the door and saw the tree and presents they just could'nt believe it, and to make it better, everything was from Mickeyclaus and Minnieclaus, it was like feeding them a bowl of sugar.

So once again I want to thank all the members who were involved with the tree's it's just one more reason I love being apart of the DVC family

AAAAHHH how sweet! I want to see pictures of this tree. Does anybody have any?

It wasn't that it was a fully decked out 7 footer or anything, it was a little 41/2 ft tree with all white lights and I bought some candy canes to put on it.
I think it was just the idea of having a tree in Disney that made it special, I honestly believe it could have looked like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree and it wouldn't have mattered.
Maybe it's one of those things where you have to do it or be there to fully understand, but trust me it was truely "magical"

wdwstar...this may just be the nicest group effort among "strangers" that I've ever seen (other than pitching in during natural disasters). Thanks so much for starting this DVC "tradition"!

Hey, I was part of the VWL tree #4 too! We got it on Sun. and turned it in on Tues. of this week. It added a little more Christmas spirit to our quick 2 night trip. I didn't think of bringing ornaments so we just used the candy canes to decorate it. It sure was an easy tree to set up! Next year if we do this, I am going to bring red bows to place on the tree.
