I know this is completely OT but I just had to write to say that I got the best gift tonight thanks to the Red Sox winning the World Series! I got my leather sectional sofa FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahooooo!!!! For those who aren't from around the Boston area, a local furniture store called Jordans furniture ran a promotion back in the spring that said if the Red Sox win the world series then anything you bought during a certain period of time would be free. I somehow convinced my dh to buy a 7 seat all leather premium sectional sofa for our den and now it is FREE!!!!! I cannot believe it! I am sure there has to be someone else on this board that participated. Won't you all please join me in a happy dance!?!?!? Yeah Red Sox!!!!!!!

Yeah for you................although I didn't buy my new leather furniture from them last year (too bad for me!!), my cousin and husband bought their sectional from Jordans and they to are doing the Happy Dance!!!!! What a nice gift!!

Still doing the happy dance this morning!! There were 30,000 people that took advantage of the offer to the tune of $20 million. Of course it was all covered by insurance so Jordans made a hefty profit. As we were going to bed last night, my dh, (who had to be dragged there and who could not have gotten out of there any faster,) said, oh too bad we didn't buy the rest of the furniture we need huh?!?! If only he listerned...oh well. Thanks to all the well wishers! Let's get back to dancing!

Me Too!! A gorgeous leather sectional!! I am normally not a baseball fan but had to watch the whole series and stayed up last night to see the awesome win! We are suprised to find out that sooo many people got their furniture free too. We happen to be in the market for a leather sectional so when we stopped by that time, the parking lot was packed! We never thought they would win! What were the chances! Awesome game!

We got our bed and our two sofas free from them winning We just got back from Disney today so we have had a great week. I am on DH did not want to buy two sofas but I told him we had the room for them and we would be getting them free so we went for it. So I two am doing the happy dance
