If you interviewed with two people, is it appropriate to send one thank you note addressed to both of them? It is a very small agency and the two work very closely together.
I don't know if it is appropriate or a faux pas to send a thank you note to two people. However, in my last interview, I was interviewed by 3 people and send each of them a separate thank you note. It is a small department - about 12 people.
If you are asking because you just had the job interview, good luck! I hope you get it!
For my current job (I got it a year ago), I had two interviews, both with two interviewers. I sent out four separate thank you notes - and they were not the same note, with just different names, they were all somewhat personalized.
I would send a note to each individual that you met with. I'm an HR Director and I have never received a thank you note addressed to more than one person.
People appreciate a personal touch and thank you notes CAN make a difference in the selection process.
My supervisor once shared with me that I got my current job because I sent a thank you note. She had two equally qualified candidates for the position and the note was the deciding factor. I sent one to both her and the other person who interviewed me.

Great! Good luck with the job. In the history of business no one has been told "We were really considering you, but when we both got thank you notes
we decided you weren't right for the postition."
