Thank you note after job interview

If you interviewed with two people, is it appropriate to send one thank you note addressed to both of them? It is a very small agency and the two work very closely together.

I don't know if it is appropriate or a faux pas to send a thank you note to two people. However, in my last interview, I was interviewed by 3 people and send each of them a separate thank you note. It is a small department - about 12 people.

For my current job (I got it a year ago), I had two interviews, both with two interviewers. I sent out four separate thank you notes - and they were not the same note, with just different names, they were all somewhat personalized.

I would send a note to each individual that you met with. I'm an HR Director and I have never received a thank you note addressed to more than one person.

My supervisor once shared with me that I got my current job because I sent a thank you note. She had two equally qualified candidates for the position and the note was the deciding factor. I sent one to both her and the other person who interviewed me.

There have been several occasions when I had two equally qualified candidates and a thank you note was the deciding factor.

Considering it takes 1 minutes to change a name, I would say send them each a letter.

Really, it isnt all that much work or effort.
