I also find it useful which is why I did a brief overview this year. Of course you need to remember that the lows in particular are usually one off and not likely to happen to your own family, but it does help but a realistic overview on a trip after being in a land of fantasy for a few weeks. I have a habit of inhaling a bit too much pixie dust whilst there so remembering the lows is usually harder than you would think.
