I needed 200 point for a vacation in June. We were forced to go to the dolphin since the group could not go for regular veiw rooms and that was all that was left. That me --day late dollar short.
Thanks everyone for your help and advice. There are no people like Disney people.

You could save big, points-wise, by simply getting a 2BR lockoff, and locking off the door between them. For example, if you are in Magic season and you have a preferred view, a Studio runs 14 pts on a weeknight, and a 1BR runs 30 pts (for a total of 44 pts per night); by contrast a 2BR lockoff with the same view (in all likelihood the same room) would run 40 pts, a savings of 4 pts per night. The savings increase over the weekend to 92 pts vs 75 pts (17 pt difference).

But maybe this is your plan anyway. I don't have the points available right now, but good luck.
