Alrighty, my last update ended with us in our life jackets preparing for the life boat drill. It really wasn't all that bad. They had us line up as a family single file with the youngest in the front. I think the girls even liked it.
After the drill I followed a fabulous hint I had read here on the boards. The girls and I took off our life vests and handed them to DH to return to the room while we climbed our way to the top deck for the Sail Away Party! When we arrived on deck we were the second family there. Front Row!

We claimed our spot front and center stage (standing over the covered Goofy pool).
The girls had fun dancing around with their streamers as we waited.
It was great to be front and center but one bummer was that by the time DH arrived there we were surrounded and he was not able to stand directly by us. He was within smiling, waving, and yelling distance though. Our spots were coveted by all and if we made a single budge more kids (and moms) would try to squeeze in.
Towards the end Faith was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the crowd.
(She will get over this by pirate night.)
They ended the party by having all the kids come up on stage. I was glad I was up front because it was difficult even from where I was standing to keep an eye on your child.
As soon as the party was over we went to deck 10 to watch us actually sail away. I must admit it was an amazing feeling. It was our first time ever sailing away on such a big ship.
If memory serves right we went back to our room to hang out and ordered room service (the only time we did this). It was a cracker and cheese plate. We had too much fun watching the pilot boats from our window.
Before we knew it, it was time to get dressed up and head to the show. (We had late dining which worked great for us since our tummies are on mountain time.)
The show tonight was Golden Mickeys. As we approached the theater there were all kinds of cast members pretending to take pictures of our family as we arrived as if we were walking the red carpet. I had to laugh because I had read TRs and knew they weren't actually "taking" the pictures. (They were just using the flashes). Well I looked over at DH and he was actually smiling and posing.

I whispered that they weren't actually taking the pictures so wouldn't feel like a complete fool by the end. We all really enjoyed the show. Perfect for our family with young children.
After the show we stood around forever to watch the "tree lighting ceremony". It really wasn't worth the wait as we could see the tree lighted at any time but it was a beautiful view non the less.
Tonight on our dining rotation was Tritons. This was Faith's favorite restaurant. There was a beautiful mosaic wall that looked like her menu here.
Don't remember who took this picture.
On this particular night we were waited on maticulously. Our servers were missing everyone from a HUGE table next to us so they were free to help us with everything. I have read some reports of "hovering waiters". I'm sure they could have been considered hovering but we loved it. Hope spilled her drink and within second they were both there. One rushed her plate away and quickly brought out all new food. They carefully creased down a napkin with a knife so that it was pretty and perfect within seconds. They did magic tricks to the girls and we had our first of many Mickey ketchup plates.
By far the best service we've ever had in our lives.
Here are some pictures that were taken by a photographer that night. (This is a picture of the computer screen kiosk.)
From looking at the Navigator I knew something very important was coming up this evening RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR DINING ROOM that we could not miss. The girls and I decided to leave DH to eat desert on his own so that we could be first in line for PRINCESS TIANA!

Wow, that certainly beats standing in line for 60-90 minutes in WDW. Plus we got the bonus of a beautiful Christmas tree in the back.
