Thanks everyone for your supportive comments on our surprise Spring Break cruise!
Now, back to the December TR.
Last post had left off at MK after leaving BBB. By the way we paid for their BBB experience completely with Disney Visa Reward $.
We did check out the waiting area for Princess Tiana but they had already closed off the line as she was going to be doing the Showboat show soon. We asked about how long the line was averaging (The Princess and The Frog movie was just out that week.) They said an 60-90 minutes. We decided NOT to wait in such a line and keep our fingers crossed that she would be on the Cruise.
Well we decided to get a good spot and wait for the Showboat. We had caught the tail end of it on our first day in MK and had seen them dance off the boat which was too fun. You can't really be in a good spot to see them come and leave the boat AND have a good spot for when the boat stops. So, since we really didn't get to see the performance from the boat we found a good spot on the bridge and waited.
The show was just as fun and fabulous as they say! That's what I love about Disney. They have the "wow factor" with about everything they do.
After the show we decided to hit one of our favorites. The Country Bear Jamboree. It said 0 minutes till showing so we ran in. When we got there all of the people had been let into the theater. We were told by the CM that we just missed it and that we'd have to wait till the next show.
However, we got a little Disney magic as another CM came out and waved us in!
I just love it when things line up so perfectly!
And, of course, being as pretty as princesses we had to go visit the Princesses.
I loved this border. It would have been perfect for pirate night on the ship. I didn't have anything that really fit there so I put DH in the frame as a joke.
I don't even think he's seen this. He truly is a "character".
Finally we headed to the photo op available for BBB princesses and now Pirates as well. I was excited about this as I have seen great pictures taken here. All these photos are placed on you photopass card regardless of if you are paying for prints. We waited about 30 minutes and truthfully I didn't get any pictures I just loved. I felt we got much better photos around the park and at the resorts. The photog. lady was great though. She was great with the kids. We got tons of pictures here. Like I said, I didn't really LOVE any of them. Here are a couple.
