Texas Roadhouse

My DH and I went to Texas Roadhouse last night. We had been there once before and I really enjoyed it. Last night they were out of bread, and I had the loaded sweet potato. Except that they forgot to load it, they put marshmallow on top and that was all!

I was really disappointed and the worst part was that afterwords I had severe stomach cramps. They kept me awake half the night.

My question, do you think I should try again? I really have a bad taste in my mouth after last night but I really enjoyed it the first time we went there.

I ate at the Texas Roadhouse and loved it. I would try again as you said you have tried it before and loved it. Maybe they were having an off right.

I would try it again. I love Texas Roadhouse and just one bad trip would not keep me away. If you continue to feel ill after, or they continue to get your order wrong, then I'd stop going.

I'd go again too. I love their ribs...eat them with a fork...no fingers necessary.

But like someone posted, if they keep getting your order wrong, then don't go back. Your money is important.

Did you have a sweet potato? I think that's how their 'loaded' sweet potatos come, just with marshmellows, if I remember right... their regular potatos 'loaded' come with cheese, bacon, sour cream. You should have sent it back - or at least asked about it!

We have ALWAYS enjoyed Texas Roadhouse, and have never had a bad visit. I love their rolls and their dinner salad that comes iwth a meal - it comes with good stuff like cheese and croutons at no extra charge. And in my dinky town, they are about the best filet I can get. =)

Give it another shot - and don't be hesistant to let your waiter know that your order wasnt right.

I too say try again. I have eaten at two different ones, and they were both fantastic. Every place has an off night now and then.
Hopefully the severe cramps were just a coincidence.

I say try it again, or try a different one. We eat there occasionally and have always loved the food. Its one of our favorite places for steaks.
