lol. Thought I was bidding on 100 points to replace a contract, and ended up just wanting to own 100 more points in total.

Anyone else ever have the “I’ll sell something if I buy this other contract” issue and then totally change your mind and keep both? I am now unintentionally point rich. Gonna have to figure out how to spend more points. Life is rough.

That’s funny I’ve been telling myself to sell 100 BLT to buy 100 CCV, but I’m sure I’d never sell it and talk myself into renting to “help pay dues”… which only really turns into bigger rooms or longer stays. lol

Like texting, it’s called a “chat box” so it would be like a group text on your phone… they can get hectic when trying to keep on topic with something and others are chatting at the same time.

I ordered them online thought the DisneyStore. They put them up after the Festival of the Arts. I’m not sure if they will always be available.

I got the frames from Michael’s…. it would be nice if the hooks were level on each picture….

My hack for this is actually using Velcro command strips. Then you can kind of shimmy the frame whichever way you need to without starting all over again when something is slightly off.

Since I was considering possibly buying Aulani next year, and because I ended up buying 3 contracts last year, I forced myself to sell a contract. I definitely could have kept using it, but I still have about $20k on no interest cards that is going to come due. It just made more sense to sell the contract than to wait until I replaced it. Jokes on me because I decided that I don't want to buy Aulani points next year.

I've never sold one of my contracts yet. I'm trying to spend more vacation time on the west coast. I wonder if I should sell my VGF so I can buy more VDH, but I have some VGF points tied up in reservations until about 8 months. And these are some firesale VGF points, and direct pricing will never be so cheap again. With their annual dues, they make great SAP.

The other temptation is just to add. I know that I don't need more points. Maybe I can come to my senses with sticker shock looking at my annual dues now that I've added some VDH points earlier this year. We have relatively high property tax in Texas because there isn't an income tax, but I think I'm at the point of paying more in DVC annual dues than property tax on my house. *eek*

I sold a 50 point Poly. It was a resale contract. I still have a direct Poly contract. We had over 500 points and really didn't need that many in the long haul.

I thought I'd like the 11 month booking window for Aulani, but decided that I don't really need it. I was also thinking of the Aulani as SAP+ for the CCV cabins. I haven't ruled out SAP for CCV cabins. It's just not high on the priority list when I'm still paying for my other contracts.

This always surprises me! What if you only had DVC Y/BY and no AP? There would be no ticket affiliation to confirm in My Disney Experience

The only thing consistent is the inconsistency!

I’m late to this thread but under “Memberships & Passes” in MDE, it lists each affiliation separately so if you just had DVC, it’s listed there.

True, but there is no Y/BY/N distinction with the affiliation in My Disney Experience.

The official "card" is the mobile wallet.
