Hi All:

I have a question about Texas de Brazil pricing. Our party will be myself, my husband, and two daughters, 11 and 8. Our anniversary will be while in the World Dec. 14th-22nd. I have a coupon for a free dinner as a result. What can I expect to pay for the other adult dinner and children's meals. I cannot locate pricing info on this place anywhere ... except I've read some comments that the restaurant is pricey. That's fine ... but I am trying to budget. Thanks in advance for any light or comments you can shed on this!!

Diner for adults, no beverages or extras, is $42/pp. I don't know what if any kids pricing they offer. It is a bargain at that price for what you get - with a discount its even better.

Lunch is cheaper, around $25 not including drinks!!But since I've also had a coupon sent to me for my birthday I think your coupon is only good for dinner.

They don't serve lunch every day, so check to be sure they'll be open the day you'd like to ahve lunch there before finalizing your plans.

And reservations are highly suggested at all times.

This helps, Everyone! I even called the restaurant today, and apparently, the price has gone up...even with the free dinner, our meal would cost our family around $100 ... pshew! :scared1: Have to think about this for a while, although all reviews say how fab it is. The adult meal is now $45 and the child's 7-12 is $22.50. Thank you again for your responses!

It is STILL a bargain. Until you try it you can't realize we're talking meats that easily cost $30+ per plate at fine restaurants - it is top, top quality. But how many of those ask "More filet mignon"?

IMHO it's only a bargain if you have a coupon for a free meal. It's quite good, and the service is fantastic, but by the time you add in the cost of drinks and dessert, it's gone from expensive to outrageous.

It cost us $122 (including tax and tip) the last time we ate there. That was for two adults, and we had one meal free, or it would have been in the $175 range. We had two glasses of wine, two beers, the main course and two desserts.

I can have a better meal at Season's 52 for about half the price. ($102 including tax and tip the last time we were there for two glasses of wine, two beers, two appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts.) Yes, it's less food, but DH and I aren't into the "gorge until you puke because it's all you can eat" mentality. If you don't need to be in a meat coma when you leave to consider it a good meal, there are better places to eat in the Orlando area.

All of that said, I'm not saying that Texas De Brazil isn't a really good meal--it truly is. My point is that it's not "all that" for the price you pay, and we won't eat there unless we have a coupon.

I ate at the one in Denver. The food is very good. However, you really need to be able to eat, eat, and eat to make it worth your while. Several of the meat skewers are much more affordable then the filet, and it is easy to fill up on those. Also, the salad/sushi bar is outstanding. Not like a Ruby Tuesday's, but fresh proscutto, milky mozarella, caviar (I think) etc. Went with a group of about 20 people, and we ate enough to get comped deserts. Thank god the company I work for was picking up the tab. : ) Also, there is no stated dress code (we went because our flight out of Denver was canceled and were all in hoodies, jeans, etc) but most people there do dress up. Everyone else in the restaurant had on dresses/slacks and most of the men were wearing ties and coats. Not sure if this is just when we went, or is normal.

I signed up for their "club" on their website, and I've already received a 25% and 50% coupon in a little over a month! We've still never gone, but hopefully we will get to soon!

When we made a reservation for the one in Orlando we were told very specifically that there is a dress code of "smart casual" ...and they aren't talking about WDW's idea of shorts and t-shirts being smart casual. (They also state a smart casual dress code on their web site.)

Actually just for the meal and tax it would be $96, that wouldn't count drinks or dessert--or the tip. Even for sodas and no dessert you'd be looking at over $130 with the one entree free for your party if you each got a soda and extended a 20% tip that included the cost of the free meal.

we just got back from there last week. with a buy one get one free coupon our tab for 3 adults was 96 before tip. i didn't check, but one of the "adults" was our 12yr old--so i should have asked about kids prices. the next nite after we had eaten at texas de brazil, we had the early bird special at the black angus steakhouse--the filet and shrimp for 12.99. while there is no comparison between the 2 restaurants(texas de brazil is much more appealing)my wife and i both agreed that the filet at black angus was just as tender, flavored and tasty as at texas de brazil. we just didn't get to sample sirloin, flank, lamb, pork 3-4 ways, chicken, etc that you get at texas de brazil

We had planned on a dinner at Texas de Brazil for our trip, hopefully with a coupon for 50% off. If that doesn't happen, I've found some other alternatives.

One of them is for the early bird special at Black Angus. I'm very glad to hear that it's a good option, as we have been looking at their menu, and we thought it was deal! IIRC, the early bird special included a drink (tea, or something like that) and dessert also. The more I think about it, it's looking like more of a great deal!

I'd suggest making reservations in advance--a couple of months ago I couldn't get in until after 9:00pm for an entire week.

Thanks for letting me know! I'm having so much trouble getting any dining reservations on Disney property, and I hadn't even thought about having any difficulty at other places! Wow! I'd better see what's available!

i know we went at a less busy time of year(monday befor thgiving)but i called about 4 of that day and got ressies for 6:30. previously, we have walked in w/o ressies by going before 5, but the place was definitely filling up by the time we left
