Testing entering the states

Hey everyone,

Does the USA have a similar app to arrivecan or do we just show the ticket agents our negative tests? Do we also US customs? What's the process.

Are you flying or driving?

If you are driving, you don't really do much of anything. They will ask you if you are vaccinated.

If you are flying, you will fill out an attestation form when you do your online check-in and you will show your testing results when you do your physical check-in.

I’ll add for the driving party it should be phrased as they “may” ask you if you are vaccinated. I crossed last week and the only question they asked was how many people in the vehicle, we answered 5 and they said have a nice day!

If you checkin online, you can upload your proof of vaccination and negative test and then no need to show it to anyone.

Can someone explain the negative test thing - since (I think) one can do a rapid test, does it need to be one that is monitored or do you just take a pic to upload or...?

It needs to be done or observed by a health professional. You need to have an official result.
