Has anyone else heard how Test Track is closing this month for refurb? I wonder how they are going to change it because it is awesome in the first place!:confused3

It's closing April 16th and will open again in the fall, late September/Early October. I've heard that it will be a whole new experience, which will be a good or bad thing because everyone loves how it is now.

Here's the information I've gathered about it:

As part of the re-imagining, the Future World attraction will feature a sleek new “Chevrolet Design Center at Epcot” immersing Guests in the fascinating world of automotive design. Amid upbeat music, engaging media, dramatic lighting and a collection of Chevrolet concept cars and model vehicles, guests themselves will become automotive designers – and peer into the future of personal transportation in the process.

At interactive design and styling workstations, Guests will be able to create their own custom concept vehicles. The adventure will then shift into high gear as Guests buckle into their 6-person “SimCar” ride vehicle and put their design through its paces on the exhilarating hills, switchbacks and straight-aways of the Test Track circuit. It will still be a real ride on the course, not a simulator.

I have to see this. i have some experance at designing things and for this to happen they will have to change the track for every person and just the time alon will make it a task i wouldn't want.

As much as I don't like that it'll be closed when I'm there, I can't wait to see what they come up with. :)

That sounds pretty cool, I hope it's worth it because that means it'll be closed during my trip ):

NOOOOO! That is our favorite ride.....I have only been to WDW once and it will be my boyfriends first time there in July and it will be closed!? :(

I know! It stinks that it is going to be closed! I was scared that during my trip (April 5-12) that it would be closed. Thank god, I got lucky!!:worship:
