Test Track Wall

The first time we rode test track the doors didn't open and our car just stopped in front of them for a minute. (probably not even that long). Then they opened and out we flew. We didn't know how it was supposed to be and spent a while thinking it was kind of lame. Luckily we did ride again and now it's a favorite.

There WAS a little "accident" once when the doors didn´t open "soon enough"...
And YES, the doors open then (split in the middle and shoot to the outer sides)

That was the reason why Disney now open the doors a little sooner

I really liked the "old" version but I totally respect the reasons for them to change that...

I can tell you from experience that if something does not go right on Test Track the rie will stop in its tracks. We were turned on our sides doing 60 mph on the back stretch and something was not right. We stopped in about a foot. Rough stop and we had to be evacuated from the car and walked through the employee area.

I fired up the video I took in 2005 and there is a white car resting against the wall. Approximately when did this effect stop?

First couple of years Test Track was open.

It happens at about 2:27 deep into the clip.

I wish it was clearer, but you CAN see it pretty well.

(I might be crazy otherwise, but I do remember this effect. )

While you indeed might be crazy (and I'm pretty sure you are) I have seen the effect and always hope for it each time I ride....to no avail
