Test Track Single Rider Question

When I go to Epcot I normally fastpass Test Track and head straight over to Soarin'. But now that Soarin' is closed during my next visit I will be going to Test Track first thing.

So my question is this: If you go on Test Track single rider first thing, as soon as the park opens, could you possibly ride with your entire family(without getting separated) through the single rider line? Because if you go through the normal queue those people will still have to design their car, etc. But the single riders should just be able to go walk through and hop right on, without having to wait for the other part, right?

I don't really care to design a car, so that part doesn't matter to me. I just want to ride with my family all together.

Does this make sense?

If you want to ensure you ride together do not get in the single rider line. You will most likely be separated. Not sure about designing your car. I guess you could just keep walking toward the door, in the design room, and see if you can bypass that part.

We went to Test Trak first thing but it wasn't working for like the first hour. So we did other things and when it came back, we went in the single rider line. there are 4 of us.
Best you can do is maybe 2 people get the same car but not the same row.

The thing about single rider is that you have to go in assuming you will be separated. If you want to ride together, use the standby line, not single riders. Don't know how large your party is, but with single riders there is no guarantee your party will be placed in the same car, and even less that you will be placed in the same row if you are in the same car. And you can't request it. That line is there only to fill empty seats.

You can bypass the car design in the standby line. Just walk through.

If you want to ride altogether, do not use the SR line. You've missed the entire point of the SR line if you want everyone to be together.

If you want to ride with y our family you need to go in the Standby line, not the Single Rider line

I agree that jumping in the single rider line early will probably get you two rides on TT but you will be separated.

Your plan to ride together (ahead of the first stand by guests right?) won't work as the single rider line doesn't usually open until there is a wait in the standby line. You will be filling the empty seats one at a time but there is a chance some of you could be in the same car.

This is true! Our very first time on Test Track (we had no clue what single rider was), we got there right at rope drop and our party of 2 rode just the 2 of us in our row of our car. We then went back out and used our 9:15 FP. It was about 9:30 by this point. This time around a single rider was put in the car with us. My mom was so mad that a "strange" man was going to mess up our picture, lol! We now use the SR line there frequently.

Even if you get to the loading area before the other guests are done designing their cars, I highly doubt they'd let you on until they're through. Also, I'm trying to imagine the speed at which you'd have to reach TT to accomplish this. It doesn't seem likely that the four of you will be the first ones there.

Single rider line bypasses the car design activity.

The whole point of a single rider line is just what the name says- for a single (1) rider.

Each car has 2 rows of 3.
They use the single rider line to fill the car if it doesn't already have 6 passengers.

You can all go through the line together, but when you get up to the ride they will pull you out 1 at a time as needed to fill partially full cars.

I have seen families/ groups try to cheat the line by whining to the CM who is filling the cars that they want to stay together. Whenever I've witnessed this the CM makes them adhere to the rules or they can leave and go back to the SB line.

As a PP said, they don't even open the Single Rider Line until it is needed.

No, even early on they won't put your together. I hit the single rider line with my nephew last year, and they put us in separate cars. We were each alone in our car, but they separated us.

Also, at rope drope, there may be many that just bypass doing the car design. From what I understand, it is not mandatory.
