Test Track Refurb?

Does anyone know much about work being done at Test Track these days? I tried searching the boards before asking, but as far as I can tell, there were a bunch of random early closures of the ride in early February and various reports of the ride being down a lot. Checking Thrill Data, there are no reported wait/LL return times since February 11th. Is this a scheduled refurb? Any info on when it will be coming back online?

Right now test track has a 115 minute wait time. It is in use.

That Thrill Data is wrong, I was just there and used FP+ for it. The ride goes down a lot and weather causes problems for it.

It's one of the most boring rides in the park, right up there with the Great Movie Ride. A whole lot of presentation for what's basically a three-minute ride in a car you don't even drive.

I guess it's just different things for different folks! We really loved the Great Movie Ride and were extremely sad seeing it go away it was far better than what it was replaced with. Same for Test Track, it's a WDW classic.

The original version of Test Track was better. The current version is super boring.

Have to agree. They totally lost the theme of the ride.
