What is the wait time for Test Track during morning EMH? My trip is last week in August, lower crowd period.

Thanks

It depends how quickly you get to the attraction. If you are at the front of the crowd at rope drop - nearly non-existent - 15 minutes later, can be 15-25 minutes. probably 30+ minutes if you get there at 8:30...

I've been wondering this too! They say not to go a park on EMH days but we want to ride the big 3 attractions and think it will be the best way! Planning on Test Track first and then heading to Soarin, FP for Frozen!

I did the Tuesday night EMH from 9-11 PM in February. We had a FP for Illuminations and then went to La Cava for a drink while everyone else was leaving the park. I think we got in line for TT around 9 and waited about 20 minutes or so. We then had enough time to go across and rode Soarin' before the park closed.

We visited EPCOT in early December for 8:00am EMH. We went to TT first and rode it twice without any wait (straight to where they assign you numbers). There was still no line after the second time, but we moved on to other things.

I love when people Zig when we Zag... keep it up! The best way to save time is to RD Soarin', then single rider TT a couple of times... at least for us...

We will be there prior to opening. My kids will power walk to test track and I'll lag behind. Once is enough for me. Or never. I think there is a good coffee stand near the Innoventions building, opposite the Test Track entrance (way across). I'll make that my first stop.

Is the make your car thing open during EMH? They love this. This is why they won't do the single rider line. I know you can mess with it in the outer room, but they want to see their car's performance in the ride.

Did EMH morning a little more than a week ago.

The most important thing is to be there at least 20 minutes before EMH opening (30 mins is probably better).

You are let into the park earlier than 8 and then held in the outdoor hallway by the Character Spot until they decide to let you go. We were about 50 feet back from the entrance to Test Track when we got there. Then 'boom' the ride was down because it was raining hard earlier in the morning and the ride prep wasn't done yet. They kept announcing that they didn't know when it would open and to try other attractions. Most people didn't leave because you could hear the cars running after about 10 minutes. The ride finally opened around 8:25 - we had every intention of staying because we knew that it would be the shortest standby of the day from where we were in line. More people behind us started to leave after about 15 or 20 minutes. One couple was having a pretty big argument about staying or leaving - leaving won and the ride opened a couple of minutes after they left.

So, anyway my point is that sometimes Test Track doesn't open on time in the morning. Once it was open we walked right into the design room and got our own car for a party of 4 - it is the only time in all of my years of going on Test Track that strangers were not in my ride pic. So, that is something to consider as a possible perk. We were out of Test Track in 10 minutes and on Soarin' 15 minutes later (posted standby was 20 minutes, it wasn't even close to it at 8:40 am. And that was with our 'bad luck' wait at Test Track. Posted wait time for TT was 50 minutes when we got off Test Track at 8:35.

.

Yes, the design room is open during EMH.
