Test Track closed for *Refurbishment*?

Test Track Closed for refurbishment in February? Does anyone know anything about this?

Unfortunately, I know all about this. We had fast passes for TT last Thursday. It had been breaking down alot. The final straw was Thursday evening. We made it all the way into the room where you watch the video. Everyone hurried out of the room, only to go no where. We were in the back, so we just sat down in the room. Others came in with us. I told them it usually takes 20 min to reset the computer. 20 min later the line began to move. Unfortunately, it moved but only to let us all exit the TT area. The ride was closed, and a CM told us the ride was scheduled for rehab due to the malfunctions.

It's closed most of January and parts of February. It is supposed to be open before President's Day week.

It's needed it for awhile....the little video screens in the cars haven't worked for like a year now. Everytime we've gone, something else wasn't working right. We love that ride, so I'm glad it's getting a much-needed refurbishment. Maybe it'll work again!

It closes some time next week. Not sure when, but I know we go Jan 4th to 11th and if we want to ride we need to go the 1st part of the trip.

According to allearsnet.com, the refurbishment is from January 9th through February 14th. I am hoping it does open on schedule or I am going to have one very disappointed 9 year old!

This ride definitely needs some fixing up, I don't think I have had a car with a working speedometer and last time we were there the shoe in the waiting area would not work.
