Monday Jan 15 Part 1
We were up and ready for a full day. I got up and got myself ready, then off to pack the suitcases. We were moving over to a 1bdrm at Disney's Boardwalk. I loved the Swan, but having the extra space was going to be really wonderful. We decided that we would just move our luggage ourselves, with Nico pulling one bag and Lee pulling the other two.
I pushed the girls in the stroller. I checked into the hotel, but of course, the room wasn't ready. As I was checking in Tony called.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"Are you up and ready to go? Are you awake? I am checking into the boardwalk then we are driving to MGM." I explained.
"Why didn't you call me before now? I'm up, but I haven't showered or anything. I'll be there in 45 minutes." He said.
"Well, you better hurry. You should have just gotten up and gotten ready. You know I am always up early."
We left our luggage with bellhop and walked out to the car.
"I wish we could take the boat ride." Nico was saying.
"Oh my gosh, Nico, I completely forgot about the boat. I'm glad you said that. We can take the boat, but I need to get a few snacks from the car. Fruit drinks, snacks for you guys, and I need to get diapers and wipes for the diaper bag."
I went to the car, filled up what I needed and walked back to the hotel to get the boat to MGM.
We got there a little after 9 and there was a Bear In the Big Blue house show in 15 minutes. All of the kids love this show. Lee took the kids to wait in line there, while Tony and I rode Tower of Terror. We had the best sequence as it went up before it fell the 13 stories. We had a blast. There was a mother behind us with three children. The little boy was scared and refused to ride, but the two sister, one had just turned 5 and the other
was about 10 still wanted to ride. Tony and I told the mother we would keep the girls with us as we made our way up the line. She thanked us profusely as she went down the "chicken" elevator with her son. The little girl was crying

and scared to death as she clung to her sister with a death grip. Poor little thing.
We walked fast over to Bear in the Big Blue house, to find them waiting for us to walk in. Bear was not in the least bit crowded. It was so nice to have a little space between the parties. My kids loved this show. They all got up and danced and sang. It was so nice to watch Samantha get this huge smile on her face when she realized where we were. She was so happy.
Next we went and looked at the line for Star tours, it was pretty long, so Lee went to fast pass it. "Don't you want to ride it too?" Lee asked me.
"No, I get very sick after riding a simulator." I explained. Also, I still didn't feel like it was TVT's job to watch my kids all the time while I was off riding all the rides, I felt bad.
At this point it was almost 11am and I think the guys were getting hungry. "Let's just go and see about checking into Hollywood and Vine. We'll see if they will seat us early. They didn't start serving lunch until 11am, but we were one of the first to be seated. This character meal was not crowded at all either. I was pleasantly surprised.
The food is ok, nothing really to write home about. Except these amazing chocolate truffles. MMMMM. It's a hard choclate candy shell on the bottom almost shaped like a tiny bowl with chocolate cream in the center. When you pop it in your mouth, it all melts together.

One bite and your in heaven.
For my kids, especially Julianna, these were the best characters. My baby was up dancing and singing with all of them. She was having the best time and that really made the meal worth it for me. The characters we saw were June and Leo from Little Einsteins and Jo and Goliath from Jo Jo's Circus.
They have singing time for each side of the restaurant where they pick different songs from Playhouse Disney to sing. Each Side has their own dancing. Now when we go to Ohana, my kids usually refuse to participate in the kids activities. They won't just get up and dance when other kids do. They are more shy. But not Tyronne, not this time. The girl had a
blast. I had it scheduled to celebrate Julie's bday. But that had been changed and I forgot to change it back. Looking back, I wish I had.
Lee and Nico's fast pass times were almost up. Lee didn't realize that you really don't have to go during that time. As long as it is after the initial time, you can use the fast pass anytime. They won't turn you away if your allotted time has passed. So Lee was in a hurry to make sure he got there on time. We walked over there and Lee thought Julie would really like it.
"Julie are you sure you don't want to ride Star Tours?" Lee asked
"Julie doesn't want to ride Star Tours. Julie doesn't like that ride." She responded.
"I should just pick her up and make her go on. I know she would like it once she tried it." Lee was saying to us.
"She probably would like it." I agreed, but realizing that you cannot force Julie on anything.
He took her and I turned to Tony, "What time is it?" I asked.
"About 1pm, why do you have a hot date? Is there somewhere else you need to be?"

He was sassing.
"I haven't seen Deena or the other girls once this trip. I know they are at the Sci Fi right now, so I was thinking about walking over there." I was explaining.
At this point, I saw Lee running toward me with Julie.
"She wouldn't ride it?" I asked
"No, she just started freaking out as we were walking in the line. Can you take her?" He asked. He was in a hurry to get back to Nico.
"Come on baby. Mommy is going to go and see Ms Deena. Do you want to go into the restaurant and say Hi or stay outside with Grandpapa Tony and Samantha?"
"I want to go with Momma the teacher and see Ms Deena." She said.
We walked into Sci Fi and I told them I had people I was looking for. They told me to go ahead in. As I walked the aisle, I didn't recognize anyone. I kept walking thinking,
Oh dear, I hope one of them claims to know me. Finally, in the last row in one of the last cars I spotted my friend.
"Hi Deena!!" She introduced me to the rest of the group and I was able to chat a little with them. I felt kind of bad standing over them while they were eating, so I didn't stay long.
"Which one is Joanne?" I wanted to make sure I got a chance to talk to her.
I walked up to the one they pointed out. "Hi, I'm Sweet." I said smiling.
"You're sweet..."

Joanne said puzzled for a minute. "OH MY GOSH you're SWEET!! Hi!!" She said as she stood up to hug me. "Your so young and thin and beautiful" she went on. I didn't say anything as I smiling and thinking to myself,
And now, bright red from embarrassment.
"This is Kelli, Momtoashlie on the Dis."
I smiled shook her hand, "nice to meet you," we exchanged
"Mom, who is that?" Joanne's Daughter asked.
"Oh just another person from the Disboards," Joanne was saying.
"You know, just another one of the crazy Disney Internet people."

I teased her daughter.
"oh no, I didn't mean that. I just wanted to know" Joanne's DD responded. I really need to remember not to sass people that don't know me. I forget that not everyone knows I'm teasing.
"Where is the rest of your crew and Tony?" Joanne asked.
"Lee and Nico are on Star Tours, Tony is outside waiting with Samantha, and oh I'm so sorry, this is Julianna, my middle child." I said, apologizing to her and my baby for completely ignoring her.
"She looks just like her picture. Let me walk out with you so I can say Hi to Tony." Joanne said. She told her table she would be right out then walked out of the restaurant with me.
"Where's Tony?" she asked as we got outside.
"He right there walking towards us. You're just not use to seeing him pushing a baby stroller."

I said.
They hugged each other hello and we chatted a little bit. She had to get back to her party and we had to go start looking for Lee and Nico. We said our goodbyes.
"She was so sweet."

I said to Tony.
"Yeah, I really seem to get along with her well."

He agreed.
