TVT - thanks for the complimentabotu the trip report with the pics. Ignore my fat legs in the backround of a few of them. I tried to cut as much of me out in most of the as I could.

Monday Jan 15 part 2

I found Lee and Nico looking for us. We decided to go run and try to catch the Power Rangers. I took Nico back into Sci Fi to say Hi to Evan and Connor. I also wanted to see if Deena had dome the Power Rangers yet. She said she would come and meet us when she was done. Nico and I ran to meet the rest of the group at the Power Rangers.

This worked out great that we had three adults. :goodvibes Tony would wait in one line and I would wait in another. The kids ran to us from one line to another until they had gotten pictures with all the power rangers. It was perfect and in no time at all, we were done. Nico was thrilled to find a Hidden Mickey.

As we were walking back, we saw Deena pushing her kids in the stroller.

"The others went to go do Backlot Tours. Are ya'll done with the Power Rangers?" she asked.

"Yeah we are done, we each stood in line and finished pretty fast. We are on our way to watch Muppets now." I said.

"Connor wants to see the Red Power Ranger, so I am going to do that, then all the group is suppose to meet back up at Tower of Terror." She explained.

We decided that we would go take the kids and see the Muppet show and then meet up with Deena and the other ladies to ride TOT. When we got into Muppets, I realized how terrible Samantha smelled.

"We have no diapers and no wipes," Lee was telling me. "Ok, perfect." I said to Lee annoyed at myself for not remember to pack the diaper bag that morning while I was at the car.:sad2:

We went into see Muppets. I was actually very surprised that all my kids kept their glasses on. Even Samantha. Usually Julie and Sammie get scared and take them off. But this time, they kept them on. I was pretty happy about that. :) We got off and Sammie was smelling worse than usual.

"Lee, do you mind taking the kids to the baby station and changing Samantha. Then you guys can get a spot for the parade and we will meet you there." I asked, really not sure if he minded or not.

"No that's fine I can do that. Just keep your phone handy so I can tell you where we are for the parade." He said.

We walked to meet Deena and the others at Tower of Terror. we waited for a while, then I didn't think I could wait any longer if I wanted to get to the parade with my kids. So, we went on the ride and I called Deena when I got off.

"Hey, where are you?" I asked

"Um, I'm standing outside of Tower of Terror, where are you?" She asked.

"I'm walking out of tower of terror." I walked a few steps further, "Where exactly are you standing?" I asked, since I couldn’t see her.

"I can see you now." she said.

I walked a little further until Tony spotted her. We talked for a little bit then Evan had to go potty. "I'll wait with Connor if you want to take just him." She took Evan and came back.

"So, are you going to wait and ride with the others?" she asked.

"No, I really want to watch the parade with my kids and if I don't hurry I might miss it."

We said our goodbyes and I hurried off to find my family. I missed them. :guilty: I got to the front of the park, but I couldn't cross to the side they were on. I was able to watch them wave and get so excited as each character went by.

When the parade was over, we walked out of the park. We were trying to hurry back to the hotel, grab the car, go to POFQ to eat dinner and make it back to the park by 6:30 to watch Fantasmic at 7pm. We decided to skip the boat ride and walk. I was ok, but I don't think any of the guys will be doing that walk again and poor Nico by the end of that hike was exhausted. :guilty:

Tony left once we got back to the hotel. He wasn't all that interested in watching Fantasmic and he had things to do before we all met up tomorrow. It's a lot for a single guy to take in with 3 little children. My kids can be very demanding at times and take a lot of physical work. I think Tony needed a break from all that. We said our goodbyes and the kids and Lee and I got into the car to go grab some food quickly.

"Now, when you are saying POFQ, you really mean Coronado Springs right? You mean Pepper Market?" Lee asked me

"Uh, no, I mean Port Orleans French Quarters" :sad2: I responded.

We made out way there and decided to eat outside. "Wow this is a lot of food and not too bad for counter service." Lee was saying. Yeah, that is one of my favorite food courts in all of the resorts.:)

We piled in the car and went back to park for Fantasmic. This was the first time we had ever taken the kids to see the show and we were pretty late. Nico was so excited as he had been asking and asking to see it. When we got inside the theater, we were told to keep going down to the very end. We picked a column and started descending down. People kept telling us the seats were saved until we got to the front three rows. I sat on the 3rd row, Lee sat right in front of me and the kids decided to sit in the very front row with a bunch of other kids. The seats were amazing and we really lucked out considering we got there wicked late.

While we were sitting there, I was chatting with the family behind me that had just gotten back from the beach that day. Her girls had never seen the Ocean, since they lived in Iowa. We chatted for a bit longer, than the show started.

As soon as the music started and the lights came on, Julie was crying because she was scared. :scared: She ran back to me, "Mommy I don't like the fireworks. Julie doesn't like the fireworks," she sobbed:sad1: .

Samantha was not two steps behind her running for me as well. I really don't think Samantha was scared. I think her sister running for me scared taught her to be afraid. SO, I had both girls snuggled up to me as we sat and watched. I told Julie to shout "Go Away" to anything that scared her.

"Mommy, what is that on the water?" She asked me

"That is the Magic Mirror." I said.

"Go away magic mirror!" Julie shouted. Samantha echoed her and so it went. The girls stopped crying. They actually did very well. Nico moved back to sit with his dad a few times when the dragon came out and such, but he loved it. He asked if we could watch the show again.:thumbsup2

"We'll see buddy." Lee responded.

We waited for almost everybody else to clear out before we headed up the stairs. WE got our stroller and walked back to the car and back to the hotel. We had been going strong all day without a break and the plan was to be at Magic Kingdom by 8:30am the next morning for the countdown

where in Iowa did they live? That is my neighboring state.

I'm not sure what's for dinner yet...i know it has to be quick as all of us have a busy night.

Wed. night dave and I always have a mini date night as all the kids have church:thumbsup2

Afternoon all.....geez, it's been a zoo around here....

It is snowing too! Not sticking much, a little on the grassy areas.

My van goes to the van doctor tomorrow...hope it is what we think it is...I hope, I hope, I hope

Your kids sound like they had a wonderful trip Momma, they are so cute

No tat's for me, I'm not of the inclination to pay to be hurt.......;) I have to agree with Pam though, what will they look like when you get saggy?:scared1: Lots of people have them though, it is a popular thing. The kids down in the warehouse are making murals out of their bodies and skin...they keep adding stuff...the one guy his arms and legs are covered, and I'm sure other places might be...but I ain't asking to see those places...

KS that sucks they gave you problems at Soarin with the FP. I do know they mark the baby swap tickets to see what day you got it. I have seen red R's and Green R's in the corner.

We always eat at Sci Fi though the food has never been my favorite. Its okay but thats about it. We like the atmosphere and the rest of the family likes the food. I guess Im just the picky one.

My favorite place to eat is Teppanyaki. Now thats some good food!

This just might be the funniest thread. To think, it all started with one little word. I really enjoyed reading all 40,000+ posts (just kidding).

[I laugh everytime I see this thread. I've never posted. What if I kill it?]:sad2:

Hey LisaL..you are welcome to post away. The key to this thread is to keep coming back. We actaully had a guy (I think the one that has been bumping us lately) that said it took him two months to read the entire thread and he gave us a thumbs up.

I may have him confused with someone else. I have been doing that a lot lately.

See that's extraordinary dedication - whoever it was. I actually just popped back over to the DIS see what was new on the boards. I haven't been around for about three years (grad school). These incredibly long threads are hilarious - and amazing. It's cool to see a lot of names I recognize. =)

Sci Fi isn't my favorite because of the opposite reason. The food is ok, but I really don't eat much of anywhere. I hate the atmosphere. I like to be able to sit down and talk when others are eating. It gives me something to do:laughing: At Sci Fi, it's really hard to talk becuase you are sitting one in front of the other.

I love the atmosphere at Teppanyaki becuase you get to talk to whoever is sitting with you. It coudl be everyone in your party or you coudl get to talk to all new people. Very cool, but I hate the food.

welcome lisal!!

my kids like sci-fi..the food was okay and i didn't thin the price was bad either:thumbsup2

Hi Lisa..........take the time and read the whole thread, you'll be surprised what you might learn:upsidedow

but please, no bumping, there is plenty of room for all of us...I like hugging better than bumping........

I think you have all seen it before this is my Tattoo.

I want a mickey mouse head ( just the outline) on my shoulder.

I saw a girl who had a pie-eye mickey doing his happy little run (you know, one arm forward, one back; same with the legs). Super cute.
