still in the 50's here, raining buckets; supposed to tank tomorrow am; hope we miss the freezing rain. We haven't had any snow accum yet.

is it spring yet?

Got very busy around 3 p.m. today at work, so didn't get back to play...I hate when I always get a pile of stuff that late, I don't like leaving work for the next day, I like to get it done...so I still have a bunch of invoices to process for mailing in the a.m.......grrr...but at least I'll have stuff to keep me busy.

Fell asleep after dinner, now I'm groggy and don't know if I want to stay up or go back to sleep.......

How did BB go for ds KS? hope they won!!

Pam, I will remind you now to get lunch ready on time tomorrow...LOL

it was 50 degrees @ midnight, now it's 25 & tanking...

coating of ice & starting to snow

(welcome to the real world lol).

mic - wow, tvt would be so proud

ds bb team lost (they had them until the 3rd qtr, then got blown out)i say it's because he & another bud didn't get to play...ahem. My son takes it far better than i do . Not a soccer mom but everyone likes to see their kids get into the game when they start subbing.

Yep, it was funny because the temp started out at 17 degrees( my tahoe was in the garage) and the boys kept counting down. Noah says " Mom, it skipped from 9 degrees to 6 degrees" He was impressed that the car read in the negitives!

We are getting warmer now though...my atomic clock reads that it is 0.2 degrees outside now!

just as cold here as where i came from so that's nothing new. this is winter.



was able to catch the bears game.
and that's all i will say about that since we have others here that are not the bears fan that i am.

i never made it to the parents' house. stuck in a motel during an ice storm.
ate a lot of junk food from the machines in the lobby......my kind of meals.




it's only mid january and i'm sick of winter.
tired of all this snow, ice and freezing temps.

Hi all. Another quickie. Gotta run. My DS goes for his drivers liscense today. He is concerned about parallel parking but I'm sure he'll do fine. Hope you have a great day.

when i parallel park and its tight, i just crunch in between the two cars near me.

tell ds that tip from me, he will do fine!!


oh and about that tip, be sure to see if the cars in front and behind where he wants to park has an alarm system in them. as long as they don't, no one will notice then if you squeeze into that space.....

He is concerned about parallel parking

everyone frets over that part of the test....in the days of the dinosaurs, when I got my license, we actually took the test out on "real" streets, and not on an MVA "street/course"...and had to park against the curb between two cars....I was given the opportunity to do it again, as I was not close enough the first time I wish him well, hope it all goes good and he is soon "licensed"....exciting times for teens for sure....gray hair time for parents

KS, it has gotten much colder here also, and we are having flurries, but I don't think they are calling for snow for us...hope not.

mic, it had a great selection. half of it was chocolate things ........can never have enough chocolate.

coffee pot on 24 hours there.
me and the coffee with some chocolate was all i needed.


i did find the cheese crackers with p'nut butter in them and it was only 50 cents.

can't beat that price....

You know how i parallel park? I don't...dave laughs at me everytime I try so If i can't pull in then i won't park there.....i would NEVER make it in a big city!! I could probabaly do it if i had to but the thing is...i don't have to so I don't unless the cars are far enough apart i know i can get in there without hitting either car.

got stuck around mo area............it was snowing when i left

didn't make it to my parents house, roads too much ice on them and some closed down.
