Happy Birthday Tony and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

My grandma was over today and we all had a nice meal. Had to take a nap in anticipation of having to get up before the chickens do in the morning.

Though last night I went out and did snag a Flack Friday deal from BB.

looks like i won't be out at the crack of dawn or before since i have to contact a plumber in the morning.

i'll have to wait to the week before christmas to do my shopping. i hope to get some work days in by then so i can shop.
the furnace, the humidifier and tomorrow the plumbering cost ate my christmas plus more funds up.

but, at least i have a roof over my head and that is a good thing.

still haven't heard from son.
had to exchange his ticket for a later date. hope he calls soon so i can let him know when he is coming back home.

Evening all.....I'm pooped...dinner was a success, although a race to to the finish to get it all on the table. Everyone enjoyed, now I have leftovers to figure out what to do with.

Everyone is off to bed, it was a big day, we went to see in-laws this evening after dinner, and we did a ton of dishes, wish I had Pam's new dishwasher

Mac, hope you get the plumbing all squared away...get one thing fixed and another goes bop, it is a vicious cycle.

Spend about 1/2 hr. putting together an online order with Bath & Body Works, and I can't get it to take my gift card Have fun Deena, I just can't "do" the morning thing. I worked for some many years on Black Friday, I tend to want to stay away from it all.

How are you this morning? Back to work huh? It was nice to have this week off, hate to think about Monday

I did some online shopping this morning, no lines, no people, no driving NO NOTHING...just good stuff! I ordered the toys for the grandson's to have shipped to their house...got free shipping and stuff they will want...they are big into GI Joe this year.....I feel so much better getting that done. Plan to order some gift cards that I need and I've got a good handle on my shopping.

Today is National Leftover Day

The kids I think are going to drive up to Gettysburg, the sun is shining and it's a nice day........

I did not buy one thing today!! I did go to 2 of my local stores here in town but didn't find anything that i had to have.

I am on my basement computer...seems mine bit the dust..i am sure we will have to take it up there tomorrow to see what is wrong with it. We just may have to do a bit of shopping then.

We did go to a movie today...went to see Deck the Halls. It was pretty good. Noah didn't get some of the parts in it as it was kinda adult humorous but trent got it and thought it was funny. Overall they liked it.

We didn't get the christmas tree up today and don't know if we will...there is still alot of the weekend left to do that.

had to sit home all day for all the repair people. garage door up but a problem and the worker will come back on monday to finish the job.

this is the first year i have missed the black friday shopping. i feel so out of it now.



i have to shop for my secret santa. did some 2 weeks ago but now have to go for the last thingy....

Damn Im tired. I left the house at 4:30am and shopped the ENTIRE day. I just got home. Went with my some of my bunco girls and we had a blast.

Good Saturday morning friends.......wow, this week flew by...the kids head back west today so today is final kissin' and huggin' the grandbabies day.....they both are smart as whips, they amaze me.

The sun is out, a little chilly round the edges.....hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend......

Shopped from 5:00 a.m. to mid afternoon, sooo tired I began to see visions . How tired was I? youngest DS went to a sleep over & I was in bed sleeping by 9:00 p.m. I am turning into such a bore, poor DH, said I'd join him in the annual glass of vino in front of our Xmas tree. It doesn't have any decorations on it yet, just lights, perhaps tomorrow, or the next day

Embarrassed to admit, "I" didn't put up the tree. DH put up the outdoor decorations (I supervised) & will wind up putting up most of the tree's decorations too, martha stewart I'm not. I tend to pick up each of the kid's home-made treasures from years ago, get all blubbery, and wind up putting just a few ornaments on the tree. I'm such a sentimental fool.

Used to put up 3 trees, I've down-graded to 1. Obviously, we use an artificial version, anyone "do" real trees?
