back from playing volleyball! We lost in 3 sets and i have to say i think we were screwed!!!! There was this amazon girl that kept breaking her wrist over the net.....she can't do that but wasn't getting called for it either!!! We are a short team...i think i am one of the tallest at 5'5" It was a good game though...went into extra points every set...maybe we will beat them in the tourneys!

Deena, sounds like you had a blast!! Oh, how fun that Matthew had a fan club and found people his age to hang with, that is awesome. Glad you are back safe and sound and the long awaited trip was great. I loved the cruise when we did it, even though we missed Castaway Cay.......pictures better be following! You will be scrapping up a storm!! I have a small album that is just from our cruise........I was just starting to scrap, so it's ok, I've come a long way.....

Welcome back Deena (& family) , get any good towel animals . Your son's a "big dog" now, romance on the high seas good for the 'ole self esteem. Did you do MNSSHP, what did you think? We thought Nassau harbor was so creepy, street lady wearing a paper bag as a hat kept following/clutching @ my poor son.

mac & mic - congrats on your many posts that keep us informed & entertained .

pam - I last played volleyball many years ago in highschool. I'm a "shorty" too, only thing I could do passable was serve. Tried playing beach volleyball & nearly expired lol...whole 'nuther type of game. Sand makes it tough to manuver IMO.

ocm - think I like it better than Xmas , fine-tuning the display, will try & figure out how to post pics again (i'm so simple ).

ed - a Pat's fan? (i remember a game a few years ago in a horrible shroud of fog...didn't bode well for my beloved Stillers).

Cough's still lingering, but it's not too bad anymore. Got in early today, so I can get home in time for our block party which we always do pre-Trick or Treating. Cam's all geared up for tonight and talking about how much farther he's going to go compared to last year. We'll take Ryan around the cul-de-sac and then bring him back home before setting out to cover the rest of the neighborhood.

Yes Pam, we did the cruise in 2000, in part to my being employed with Disney It was dirt cheap, we got a great cabin w/verandah on an upper deck.....it was a wonderful perk of the work. A hurricane had blown through and closed Castaway Cay (the dock was damaged), so we sailed to Cozamel, Mexico...interesting, someplace I would never get otherwise, but it meant a lot of time at sea instead of island hopping. They have added other trips/islands and stuff now, so its nice to have choices. I would do it again if I could muster up the $$

Ok, the dragon lady (aka the office manager) is bopping around trying to ruin everyone's day.........and I'm not letting her do it to me today

Yes we did MNSSHP. I liked it but then again I always do. It was less crowded than when I went on 9/29. I love the Boo to You parade. The gravediggers are cool.

We didnt hit Nassau on the cruise. Just Castaway Cay 2 times. Roy Disney was on the ship.

I am going to post some pictures but I havent downloaded them yet. I think Im going to ask Santa for a new camera. Mine has a lot of lag time and a lot of the pics come out blurry and I know its not just me because a couple of others took pics of us and they said blurry too Plus I must be getting old and blind because I need a bigger view area to see the picture, the one I have now is getting smaller, lol.

deena - I'm w/you on the camera issues. Sick of my Sony, like DHs Fuji, I missed lots of fireworks shots due to the delay. I managed to burn out sensors on my newly out-of-warranty JVC camcorder too last trip. Either they're not making them like they used to or I'm just "hard" on electronics.

I didn't notice it @ the party but, when watching the video on the Sponsor's site, you can see the shovels throwing off sparks...way cool!

I love my Canon digital camera...I would like to get one eventually with more pixels.........but I've been happy with this one, guess I've had it around 4 yrs. or so

Gosh Deena, did you get to see Roy Disney? When we cruised, we were like 2 doors or so down from the Roy Disney Suite...wonder if that is where he was staying.......cool, a celeb sighting

hi, nice looking boys. i have 3 myself.

this thread started as a test board.........and the others that are on here now were testing in the beginning but now we just hang around and visit.
have been doing this for over two years now.

i was trying to test my siggie at that point and ended up created a thread where other testers came and stayed.

if you are done with the test, come back and play.
mic is correct, we only use the #2 pencils here, no needles as no medical testing done on this thread.........
