Decided to get those cards ready, I've never been this late mailing them, even ran to the Post Office in my jammies and slippers to get them posted so they will go out tomorrow. I think we only have very early pick up on Saturday's...and I didn't want to fight going inside in the morning, our P.O. is small and it will be over crowded tomorrow for sure.

my computer is dead. i took it to the mac doctor and got a call a few minutes ago.
power supply is deader than a doorknob.
and once power supply is fixed with new part, it could also have a dead circuit board.

have to decide what to do. have it fixed or replace it.


right now i am borrowing son's laptop for today.
as long as he doesn't take it to friend's house to use there, i can borrow it for limited times. tthis puts a big cramp in my usage for the contest.


this is not going to be a very good month at all....


hope aubrey is healing fine.

Howdy all!

Aubrey finally decided to open her eyes today. Poor baby is getting black eyes now though Looks like she has been through a big fight.

I got my secret santa yesterday!!

I also got my mail from adam!!! A million thanks!!!

I am so tired...i went to lincoln with a few friends and finished a few last minute things but was there all day. I wanted to be home by 2pm but it didn't happen that way. I did get home in time to see the huskers win the national championship in volleyball though!!

Anyway, think i am off to bed...have to teach sunday school in the morning then i will be off to the dreaded trip to the grocery store.

Went to company party yesterday, it was SO nice...and I was shocked to heck and back...I was aware the owner gave bonuses at the holidays...figuring I'm at about a year, I was thinking 100 bucks....I got almost 2 weeks full pay! I was like astounded when I saw the check. I've never worked anyplace that treated me that well at the holidays!! The concert/show in Baltimore was very nice too, we had fun.

I too am off for groceries today, so see ya later gators.........

on son's laptop the two keys came off.........yikes i hope he doesn't blame me.

about my mac, well, i don't have $2500. laying around the house so that makes it a tough decision in buyiing one unless i use my cc and then that means i do have to work full time for awhile.

on the other hand, i don't have $800 laying around either.......for repairs.



hate to put a lot of money into an older computer.



guess i will flip a coin and see which way to dread.



as long as i can use son's laptop, i think i am okay.

i need to get moola together for the boys christmas presents before i invest in repairs or buy a computer.

after church i am meeting up with some on the chicagoland thread at culvers. that's only about 10 miles frommy house.

Pam - that is excellent about Aubrey opening her eyes.

Mic and Pam - have fun a tthe gorcery store today. I did walmart yesterday twice,. They had nice picture frames for $2..you can't beat that! And really, it wasnt as bad as you would have thought.

Pam - did you get your laptop back? I still haven't heard much except they are waiting for a part to come in. I'm not happy with them. I haven't had my laptop sionce before Thanksgiving.

Mac - i know how you feel about not having the computer..it sucks! Good luck with whichever decision you choose.

Mic - come on now..I posted a pic of my hair even though its short and I hate it. You like your blonde.show it off.

trying to decide how to pull christmas off on gifts. i need a computer fixed for almost $800 which is too high to pay for a 3.25 year old computer or buy one for 2500.

when it comes down to it.
i can use the computer time at the public library.
my family comes first.
i don't have to have a comuter, just wanted one.
wow, i answered my own question, thanx buddies!!

how is aubrey doing now pam?


btw, what type of laptop does pam have?
when i search out buying one after i go back to work, i don't want to buy what she has. no offense, just don't want to deal with hassles on computers.

What a day!!! It is a crazy place trying to run around and shop here!!! I am glad i made it safely home

Aubrey has opened her eyes all day...now we will have to deal with the red in her eye and the black eyes she is getting

ocm--i do not have my computer back...last time i knew it was in some other state getting looked at.

mac--i have a compaq. This is the only bad thing that is happened so far...the last one was the power cord which they just ordered a new one. The problem i had last time was with comp usa...the store we bought it from....which is starting to become a problem again...not liking their costomer service!!!

Dave is making supper right now and then i think it is going to be a lazy evening as i have to get ready for the kids to come back tomorrow.

I got a good deal on a Toshiba for DH (when did they start making laptops?).

It has as much "oomph" as our last desktop, so I hope it lasts.

We're forbidding the brats from touching it...think wear & tear is a factor??

Good evening everyone. Hope all is well with you. Some (unmentionable) team (from an unmentionable place) decided to play the game of the year against my New Orleans Saints. But that's ok. We won our division anyway. Now we just have to beat those pesky Giants and the Panthers the week after to get the number 2 seed and a playoff bye the 1st week. Haven't gotten my SS yet...I'm looking forward to a pair of candle holders though!

WOW, the wedding is upon us!! We want pictures too...lots of em...are you getting excited? Yeah, it's hard to lose our babies, but if he is happy, that is what matters....oh gee, I'm excited for ya!!

My blonde is light and lighter highlites also, 2 different shades..I have so much gray to cover.......

Mac, sorry about your computer, and I can understand the $$ issues...that just sucks...you will work it out though. Lots of people don't like Dell, but that is what all our computers and laptops are at work, and they seem happy with the brand. My computer here is a Dell also. You can get some good deals on them online, built to what you specify, although I know you are a mac...mac....person Glad you got your SS also...oh boy, this is getting exciting....

Pam, Aubrey will be all over her eye stuff before you know it. She'll be so into Santa coming, she'll forget her black eyes.
