and he didn't even piddle on my rug , unlike my own two.ocm - go ahead, rant & rave, that's what we're here for my mum calls it constructive citicism; whether well-intended or not, sure does hit the nerve. I luv mine dearly, just keep telling myself to consider the source & take all personal comments with a huge grain of salt. If anything, it keeps me from blabbing my 2 cents worth all the time w/my own boys.

afternoon all!

I am able to sneak a minute to say hey!

I have my new dishwasher, my washer is finally fixed, and my computer is in the shop...they seem to think it is the motherboard?! i'm not computer friendly so i just say fix it...it is under warranty!

Aubrey went for her dr. appt. yesterday and it will be surgery for her. She is scheduled to be in boys town surgical something or other at 6:30 am. on the 14th of dec.

My kids get out the wed. before christmas...not sure what day that falls on as i am in trent's messy messy bedroom and don't have a calendar in front of me.

Glad you had a good time tvt! It is always nice to spend special days with friends.

Ed--have a good time at disney!!!! Think of us while you are there! Looks like the weather is suppose to be very nice for you!


Hope you guys miss me as much i miss being here with you all! Seems to make the day drag when i can't just pop on!

That puppy is so cute.

I really shouldn't bother to hide when Im crying. My eyes turn this bright green color. It's a clear sign that I'm upset. You can always tell my mood in my eyes. I'm not one of those people that can hide their emotion.

Keisha - it's nice to hear I'm not the only one with a mother like that. I love my mom dearly too and as much as I love, I certainly don't want to be her. I love her for who she is, I wish she could do the same back.

Pam - Im so sorry about Aubrey's surgery. I hope this one works. Poor baby has been through a lot already. We miss you. To be honest, I havent been around much either. I'm trying to get my house back together after the company

Tony - nah, I have an evil streak, but Im not that evil. I'm sorry you never got to try the pie. Oh well.

i am finally here.........it's been a long day.

last night i meet carmen who i met on the ladies dis trip in september.
she lives not far from where i did when i lived in chicago.

we met at a mediterrean resutarant that i used to go to all the time when i lived in the city. we yaked for 3 hours and didn't realize how long we were there........

i got home around 10:45 last night and read an email from my mexican son.
this kid is going to give me a heart attack or stroke, don't know which i will have first.

anyway, didn't get to bed until 3 this morning. got up at 6 to feed the cat and then went back to bed. i slept until 9:10 this morning and the phone woke me up. sub clerk at the high school asked me to come in for a teacher that went home sick. she needed me at 9:30...told her i needed more time so got to work at 9:40 and smelt really bad..........

busy catching up now.

sorry about what all has happened to some of you. i really am sorry and wish it would be different.

ed, i wanna come too.


tony, i caught that, you wanted to lock yourself in the bathroom also.....

Mac - glad you had a great time with Carmen. It's nice that you get to meet up with the ladies on the trip still. Sounds like the trip brought you a couple of good friends. That is always the best way to end a trip. Even if you end up closer to only one more friend, it makes the trip worth it. At least I think it does.

i meet carmen on the chgo thread sometime back, way before the ladies dis trip.

i didn't get to be with any of the ladies really on the past trip we had.
did 2 dinners together, and hung with a few for 2 hours on one day walking around and that was about it. really, opposite what you said, didn't get to know anyone on the trip.

meet deena but in passing with tony one saturday. she was on her way out from lunch with friends and we were on our way in to meet all of them.
but, they had left already. able to see deena on the friday dinner at park fare but with so many gals and getting up for the buffet line there, didn't get to carry on much of any conversations. very overwhelming that night.

resturant crowded, mk crowded for mnsshp.

went back to mnsshp on thursday oct 5 and it was empty. met up with the chgo thread ladies that night. some of that thread, others from another board thread. that meet lasted about 15 minutes...


everyone was in a hurry to do the trick and treating that night.
boy, did i get bags of candy then.

Evening friends...well it wasn't this deep, but it sure felt like it...

but I'm fairly caught up..but the damn phone rang incessantly today, one call after another...I get sick of being sweet... I'd like to answer one time saying WTH do you want? LOL....wouldn't that be professional

Pam, I was SO praying that Aubrey could get by without the surgery...poor little thing. How invasive is it? Will it require an over night stay? Oh geez, that is just awful. I also will keep her in my prayers and hope that this surgery does the trick!! Yes, we miss you...the thread hardly moves when your computer is on the blink Get the think fixed ASAP

Momma, don't worry about what your Mother says...as a Mom and MIL, I try very hard to keep my comments to myself. I've learned when its a good time to butt in and when its a good time to keep my lips zipped...so SEE that makes me a good Mom and MIL!! I'm glad to hear that you had a great holiday though and that Tony enjoyed himself so much. Nothing like being with people you care about and sharing good eats. I'm sure you only THINK you need to lose weight.......

Thanks but my poor baby isnt feeling any better. He has had fever all day and was just complaining of his stomach hurting. I hope he feels better tomorrow. I dont want him to be sick and I have tickets to take the boys to see Scooby Doo at the Toyota Center on Thursday.
