Tony - Try to keep warm down ther ein only 65 degrees. I know it is a huge drop from the 95 you had yesterday.

Feel like I've been cheated, didn't get to sleep in this weekend...I need all the beauty sleep I can garner.

Anyone else watching Heros...caught the marathon last night, even got DH to sit thru one episode, he's hooked too. New one on tonight, pretty cool IMO.

mic - inspirational stuff, didn't know about the exhibit. We haven't been down to see family for quite a while, they always prefered to come north to gamble @ OT betting facility nearby...does DC/VA have gambling yet? We should have slots next year in PA.

tvt - woolen undies...don't bet the house on it. Supposed to snow later today.

ocm - 1/2 way done? Now, I'm depressed fer sure. The older my boys get, the more expensive goodies they ask for. 2nd year Xbox 360 is on middle DSs list, youngest wants new Nintendo system. These are the kids that I had to buy 2 Xboxs for a few years ago so I didn't have to hear them fight over playing time. Just as well, older one takes it to dear ol' dads, don't think youngest would go for that.

mac - eventually we'll all end up there lol.

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. No soccer for us this weekend. The older kids had soccerfest (a tournament that lasted the whole day). I DJ'd a 35th wedding anniversary Saturday night.

My kids did not want to move today! can't say i blame them though...it is 28 degrees here.

Have to get a move on and decide what to have for lunch today....my food lady is coming to watch me cook lunch to make sure I am following all the rules and serving sizes. Atleast she gave me notice...she called last night while i was at the store and talked to dave...thank god he remembered to tell me

ks--i know what you mean by the older they get the more expensive things they want...that is how my kids are...ofcourse they want it all and think they should get it all.....got news for them...santa don't have deep pockets!

mic--have a good day! Has ds found a car yet? Is he starting his new job today?

gant--was it a fun djing job? I am sure you get some fun ones and some boring ones...or do you liven it up?!

ocm--1/2 way done! good job it's not even turkey day yet! Maybe this week I will work on the secret santa stuff!

ed--remember when you were in the market for a dishwashe? What did you end up getting and is it working good for ya? Ours is about shot so we are going this weekend to look...the thing that makes me mad is ours isn't evn 5 years old yet! I guess that is one of the appliances that i use every day if not 2 times a day so it does get alot of use.

Yes, son starts new job today..he was going into the office for paper work, he will have to have a lot of security clearance etc, and he has already called saying how they messed up, not acknowledging a fax he sent, someone was supposed to call him and they didn't and he didn't know who to call, so he is fretting already....but he just called for an exact address of one of his references and he seems better....the whole weekend was a little much and then starting the job also...it will all work out

KS, I hate when the weekend gets by and you have gotten up early and feel like you didn't get that extra few winks we gals need...I know the feeling...with going away yesterday I was up earlier than normal for a Sunday. WVA has slots, in fact only 12 miles from us is Charlestown which is a race track and casino type thing. We went one day and it was ok, no Vegas, but we had fun. I really wasn't that crazy about the place, Vegas spoils you A LOT! There were all kinds of NO TO CASINO signs up around Gettysburg last weekend, so I guess the push is on to open something up that way. Yes, it was all different going into Arlington, you used to pull into a big parking lot, which I believe is where this new Woman's Memorial is setting. Now you have to go into a paid parking deck ...ya pay taxes and still pay to visit National places.

I went to check my deposit from my pay last night, I didn't even give it a thought on Friday to look at my direct deposit, and the office manager shorted me a week Geez, for someone who always "acts" like she knows every damn thing, she sure messes up. Teach me to check on deposit day from now on. You just don't expect people to screw up with your pay when it is basically the same every week.

Well, got a little work to do, hope everyone checks in about their weekends....Muffy is hiding out I think, perhaps she is still secretly longing to be back at WDW and is daydreaming.....

just didn't want to work today. had great plans but morning is half way over and have not made the progress i thought i would.

still looking for a cc i took out of my purse before the motherland trip. i put it in a safe place in the house and now forgot where that safe place is.
driving me nuts. figure if i took off work and searched i would find it in minutes. i was wrong.

yes, the red birds screwed up last night. they didn't come to life until the 9th inning with 2 outs. i knew in inning 4 they would lose.

mac - hope you don't have to get it replaced...we bought a big old safe, cannot move the sucker but, told DH it's helpful for the theives to know where to look for the goods.

got a tire going flat on the caddy, can't wait to see how much that'll cost, off to price.

anyone with any imput on what kind of dishwasher works is good for me!!!! I am getting tired of doing my dishes............................by hand!!!!

pam, i have a GE Triton XL dishwasher.

have had others, this is my 3rd one and i like it.

out of the models i looked at last year, this one i chose due to the stacking shelves in it and the shelves can be removed for large items. the different levels of wash doesn't matter to me, i put everything on pots and pans section.

i figured all will be clean then.

it has features i would never use such as heat dry, timer on it to warm plates, etc.

just liked how i could get more dishes in it than the others.
models change so frequently and i don't lke the newer ones as much as the ones of 10 years ago.


i love my dw !

keisha, get the tire fixed unless you want to run along side of the caddy trying to hold that side up..
