I think I am going to veg out tonight! Since I will be gone all day tomorrow I think I may even go to bed early....we will see what is good on the tv before i decide that.

Have fun at the fest mac......I know how you love that stuff..

Nope son did not get hit in the head or hurt at all.......he is SOOOOOO lucky...we drove out tonight to the body shop and took another look at his car, as my husband hadn't seen it...he too was amazed that he walked away without a cut!! I am constantly asking him though if anything hurts.... you know how us Mom's are..........we had a good laugh though this evening........he said something kinda silly, and I remarked "well, remember, he did get hit with a tree today" (funnier if you were there with us )

Had a sucky dinner, and I wasn't going to leave a tip at all, then dh starts with his routine of not being mean, so I left her a buck........which was a buck more than she deserved........she was friendly, but needs Waitressing 101 classes and she needs them right now I was so ticked I ate a bunch of Oreo's when I got home........ hey, any excuse is a good excuse in my book

Pam, rest up for the marathon shopping spree.........have fun

I'm off to watch TV too, I'm mentally beat today.......so I won't last long...I will remember to fold and put away the thongs so Tony doesn't go just wearing anyone's........regardless of the color... I'm so glad I had the thong episode today to keep my spirits up, it sure made me laugh

mac - didn't get enough scares @ Universal? Not sure whether we'll do the local event or not...youngest son isn't much for things that go bump in the night (gets it from his dad's side of the family). Enjoy your weekend with your boy.

mic - That's some pink bling, sure the guys will luv it.

Hope your DS isn't feeling too sore the day after. My DH would tip if the waiter dumped a bowl of soup on his head - such a softy.

pam - spent the morning cleaning DSs BR. Found many pr of wind pants & jeans that still fit, told him to see me after Xmas for a spree; you'll have to tear up the mall w/o me this trip.

Ped. said his oxygen level was borderline, put him back on inhaler & Rx - singular & steriod nasal spray; with instructions to get him to allergist for pulmonary tests. Figured I've give his room a good dustin', don't leave the critters into any BRs already due to their shedding hair & dander. Should have seen the look I got when they gave him a flu shot & TB test (they just do a long, slow injection now...creepy).

Need to get motivated & finish halloween dec., mush.

back from chicago and just did lunch for all of us.

well, i bought lunch in chicago at a place we loved and used to live near so that still means i did lunch. i spent the money on it.

son about to leave for work.
he tells me he is going to see gf afterwork and stay at her parents house now.

i'll see him before i have to take him back to union station tomorrow afternoon.

other son and gf here watching tv. think they will leave around 3 as son's church starts at 5:30 and he doesn't miss.

mr mac out visiting today. will see him in time for dinner.
he is taking me out tonight, only he doesn't know it yet.


going to read and surf for a bit.

I did actually wear my pink thong today. it's black and pink, and says "LOVE" on the back. I think Deena and Tony have seen them before..maybe Mic too.

It's Samantha's b-day today. Nico's soccer game was 10-0 and we had a great time going out to lunch with everyone. Then off for some Ice Cream. I signed up for Cold Stone Creamery birthday fun. They will email you a coupon for a free bday sundae..and it isnt little at all!! So the kids can share. Any excuse to get ice cream right!!

Mac - have a fun night with Mr. Mac tonight!!

Keisha - I'm sorry that his oxygen was low, btu at least they figured it out quickly.

Mic - I hate when you get a bad server. That has to be one of the most frustrating things when you go out to a restaurant. That and if the service is extremely slow.

Pam - I never asked..how did that make -up that you ordered over the phone to work out?

Momma, sounds like you guys had a great day...happy birthday Sami....woohoo, seems like yesterday we were betting on what she would be... ice cream IS a treat, cool beans for all of you...Momma, the waiter I had to ask to find our waitress was the young guy you and I had when we ate at Pargo's...he is still there and he was so attentive to his table, it sure made her look bad, then having to go look for her twice...you go back to restaurants cause you like the service and the food, this just put a whole bad taste about the place for us...and that makes me mad and sad.

KS, sounds like your son has some health concerns, but good you are keeping up with it all and coping with it, good luck

Mac, you as usual are busier than a one-armed paper hanger

DS is fine today, no after effects, just sad about his car, but he is looking at new vehicles online, so that is a good thing.......here is a photo of what meeting up with a falling tree can do to a car......I think you guys can see why we keep saying he was one lucky driver yesterday!! The brown thing down on the front bumper, is actually bark off the tree!!

I do remember our waiter from Pargos and he was excellent. He was such a nice guy too. I agree, it makes it so much worse that he was excellent and your waitress was aweful!

it seems like yesterday when sammy was born. i do remember it was ed that told us about it. and then within one week, they moved to the south away from home to a new location.

back from the grocery store and received call from mr mac.
he is too tired to go out tonight.

he should have called BEFORE i went to the grocery store. didn't buy anything to make dinner with tonight.
he will have to settle for fish sticks and mac and cheese then....


going to watch my boys in red tonight and i have a very bad feeling about it.

i know muffyjo will be rooting for the tigers as her past trip buddy was a mets fan.

Evening folks.........mac, your dinner to be sounds as exciting as ours, we had hotdogs on the grill and homemade mac n cheese...now how is that for home cookin'

I've done NOTHING today...honestly, I have so much to do and no motivation at this point, I just didn't feel like tackling anything. I really should have, cause we are off on another family outing tomorrow, heading to VA to Arlington National Cemetary and perhaps into DC for food...meeting BIL there, and he knows all the ins and outs of DC, so he will steer us around. We are driving to Arlington and meeting him there. Hope we have good weather, chance of some rain, but I guess we will not melt.....

I will sporadically watch the game, I'm kinda a sore butt cause my team was out so early, so I'm not totally into it, but maybe the old fat lady will sing for mac, and she can feel good about it all. We know we have at least 4 games to sit thru if not a couple more.

Yes, I remember reading the news of little Sami while I was out in Phoenix...I miss my fall trip out west........ I will be heading that way next year, that is for sure.
