Happy Friday to you!!!

This weekend not to much going on....

tomorrow I am going shopping...the boys need long sleeve shirts and new shoes...i may try to sneak some x-mas shopping in too...we will see how much time i have.

Sunday trent starts his football tourneys....he plays at 12:30 and if they win then they play at 4...so no real plans there since we don't know if he will still be playing or not.


The are talking snow for tomorrow...i don't think any real accumulation but it is still SNOW

I would love to see not only the Beach Boys but Three Dog Night too....you are lucky TVT to be right there....by the way, any word on if you may be getting your new job you told us about? The only thing about Mike Love, as he always struct me as "unloveable" of all of the band. So 2 Wilson boys have died, the other little short guy, Al Jardine? maybe he is still with them? Ever seen the movie (I think it was made for TV?) about them? it is pretty good...the old man got them going but was also a lot of their troubles.....well that and habits also

Still foggy and bleary here.........but again, it IS Friday...

Pam, have fun shopping...I think I'm opting out of that tomorrow...may meet dh tonight for dinner and a few groceries, so I can have the weekend days free to do stuff around the house. We may go to Arlington Sunday depending on weather. SNOW you say SNOW...........ick

my youngest DS, who announced 2 months ago he needed "nuttin" in the way of clothing for school has grown a couple inches & his pants are now capris; even the windpants are above his ankles. Think I'll be joining pam @ the mall this weekend...wonder if they'll take left-over Disney $s?

this boy on trent's football team always wears a pink shirt to practice and it says "tough guys wear pink"

So you know....pink just isn't for girls anymore!

Ok, I want to thank any of you who attend church and always say you pray for me

I got a phone call at work around 10:30 this morning that scared me you-know-what-less....ds just got his car out of the garage after 2 weeks having some electrical problem fixed, in fact, this is the second time in a month or so its been in.......well, he is driving to his girlfriends and a dead tree broke off its trunk and hit him head on he could not avoid it, it was like a freak thing...so when he calls, he is about 7 miles from me, so I say I'm on my way....I pull up and see the car........... it looks like someone hit him head on, the front is mangled, the windshield is all broke and it blew the back window OUT....air bags opened.......OH MY, I went running to him and just hugged him so hard....nothing wrong with him thank the lord, it did knock his glasses off, but not a scratch on him.......he is SO stinking lucky, it could have so many scenarios I can't even think about. So, we spent an hour and a half on the side of the road, doing the insurance ritual, then waiting for the tow truck. To me, it looks totaled......poor kid. He is starting his new job Monday, so things are looking up and them WHAM..... I'm so thankful it was the car and not him that got messed up. But what a trauma.......I freaked at first, which I'm usually the voice of reason, but by the time I got there, and I saw him, I was fine. I hate freaking out....its so useless but I then took control of my own senses and got it all straightened out. Now we wait for insurance issues, fun huh?

So, I was just watching out the window at work at this downpour and then heavy gusts of wind.........next thing ya know, the phone call....just so bizarre to say the least. Plus this morning I had forgot my cell phone....again, just weird.......but all is good, metal we can replace, ds I could never replace

poor mic! what a start you must have had, glad to hear your baby's ok! Sorry about the car, never know what's around the bend, seize the day! Don't envy the insurance ordeal, as if he'd need any additional stress besides dealing with that which comes from putting his best foot forward on a new job, good luck.

Baseball seems trivial @ this point but,
