think i've heard that one before...just not from the teacher:teeth: staying hydrated is a good thing.

DS's team only had possession of the ball once during the 1st 13 min. of game & they fumbled it. Did manage to get a nice pass play off before 1st half. At least they scored. Still can't figure out how only a few kids in the whole school district have ever played football before? Know they have a league, guess it's not a priority in the kids or parents eyes. Jr.'s going to teach them how to tackle today. Had to laugh about how far north the school is, we saw snowflakes on the way home:faint: way too early for that stuff to start flying.

Did you say snowflakes???!?!?!?! :furious: I'm NOT ready for snowflakes either...
don't laugh at me because i sound hick, but my dad told me that the farmers almanac says it is going to be a very wet winter this year...don't look good for us! :sad2:

yep, it was the white stuff.

dh checked the alamac too, it's grim for us; cold & wet; just got done paying off my gas bill a few months ago. Think we'll run the fireplace more or buy a pellet stove if we can find one, they were scarce last year.

I base my forecast on caterpillers coats just like my daddy did:thumbsup2 (haven't seen one all summer - think the squirrels are eating them).

Hi guys

Sorry I haven't been in touch.

After we got home from WDW, I found out my sister has breast cancer.
She lives alone in upstate New York, so I can't be there.

they operated today. not sure of the outcome until tomorrow.
they did do a partial masectomy and a lpymh node biopsy.
She will need chemo & radiation.
My mother and brother who came up from Texas are with her.

But my mother said the doctor did give any boost of confidence.
I'll call him tomorrow

I've been playing on the CB, just needed some playtime.

My attention span has been zero, so I haven't gone back to read any pages.
I'm sorry.

Bob- you did a good job on that working mother thread! :thumbsup2

oh muffy :grouphug: so sorry to hear about your sister! She will be in our thoughts!

I read that thread...thought about putting my $.02 in it, but decided not to, because it looked like it was going to get ugly  yes bob...you did good! :thumbsup2

off to look at a sax to buy for trent...we are renting him one now and want to buy him one...it will be so much cheaper in the long run!

Pam- you're right, buying is much better.

after 2 years of renting a violin, 4 years ago we bought it.
it paid for itself after a year. I bought it on e-bay and the music teacher sound it would be good through high school.:teeth:
