Morning troops
ocm - you are a hoot! Do your kids go to different skools?
The last 21 years I've spent enjoying little league action (figure I've got 5 more years to go), has given me all the bb action I can handle LOL. Professional baseball has morphed into something I can't get into...doesn't help that Kevin McClatchey, the current owner of the Pirates, is determined to suck every $ he can out of the franchise & let any shred of talent head for greener pastures. We're still paying for the stadium & Heinz field too...after we voted it down in a referendum.
At the risk of dating myself...the greatest "manny" that played the game was Manny Sanguillen, catcher for the '79 team (series champs). His persona was unfailingly polite, mega-watt smile, active in youth sports, etc., overshadowed by P. Rose & his big mouth @ the time. Can't miss an opportunity to mention Roberto Clemente either
.
mac - got to clear up all those loose ends
Always got to have clean underwear (my grandma who morphed english w/here native tounge called them "gutchies").
As long as you've got clean gutchies and a freshly pressed babushka (head scarf) you're good to go.
