I went to church today for the first time in a long long time. I think this might be good for me. If not..at least it doesn't hurt.

Mac - even though I went to church..I could probably use a few more prayers for good measure.

greetings this fine Sunday...

I've gotta hangover but, it was well worth it.

1st off - what's up with the disabled searching feature...I'm lost w/o it (yes, it's true - I have very little life).

ocm - we don't go to church as nearly as often as we should (priest has told me on numerous occassions that I'm dooming my DSs commiting a sin each "missing" sunday. We catholics thrive on guilt

As I've told him, that's what penance is for. Afraid I'm a cafeteria catholic @ best, think I got disillusioned when I went thru the annullment process after 10+ years of 1st marriage & had to come up w/a "whopper" & lots of cash to close that deal). However, you've got to raise your kiddos in some faith to follow morals. All religion is good in my book.

deena - chin up, it's tough to send them out the door...be confident you've given him the tools to succeed...he'll always be your baby.

mic - hope your breakfast went well...we had bananas & rasin bran...forget breakfast of champions, moreso breakfast of old foggies.

hope muffy's has good weather & it's not too crowded (think "free" dining has started.)

youngest DS still mia @ sleepover, oldest 2 are holding open tryouts for the the indoor football league. They're hoping for some hot prospects. These players got to be in it for the love of the game, only get paid $50 per game w/one franchise player who gets $200. Those 2 life, eat & breathe football. Feel bad, on the high school team they've lost 6 of their starters to injury so far...there goes that season.

Wow, does sound like a long football season for the guys....I don't follow football at all, so they can have my share of angst..I just angst over baseball, that is enough for me........

Mac always looks out for us on Sunday's and now we have backup..momma, glad you felt good going to church

look at this , i tell you, we all fall to pot when tony slacks on his wake up calls.

so he took sunday off and most of you slept in......except for me...


tomorrow is monday and tony will be back on the job getting all of us out of bed bright and early.


hmm, if i had tnt's phone number i would start calling him around 6 am next sunday so he can wake up and post here for wake up call of the troops........

Hello everybody Happy Sunday. How everybody been. Just got back from Foxwoods(local Casino in Connecticut) for my friends bachelor party. Got my WDW res changed to the AK with the AP code the boys are excited to go there with a ll the animals.

The boys will love AKL...I was fortunate enough to have stayed there several times and it is a beautiful place. Good for you!!

Ed - I'm sure you had a blast at the bachlor party!! Wicked fun.

Mic - I wont remind you that TVT will be up at 6am to wake us up. Im usually out of bed at that point, jsut doing other things.

Mac - I have Tnt's number if you need it.

KS - I am the same with the religion. There are certain things that I completely agree with and others that I am not so much in favor of. But, it will be really good for me, I think to reconnect with my faith.

I was sitting with Julie and I and there was a family on one side and a guy who was there by himself sat next to us on the other side. No big deal. He held my hand for the "our Father" which was very nice, not even my own daughter wouldn't do that.

Anyway, once the prayer was over I let go and Julie realized what had happened. All of the sudden, "NOOOOO MOMMY..that guy has to hold your hand still," she exclaims as she is pushing my hand back over towards his.

I was highly embarrassed. Then the guy was sooo nice at the kiss of peace he told Julie "Peace be with you..you precious Angel. You are so beautiful"

To which Julie answers, "Yes, you are right. Good job"

Ok..my face had to have been bright red at this point. So..at the end of mass, he walked out first..and i should have followed him, but since my 3yo had mortified me..I ran to the other side of church and walked out over there.

Clearly, my children are not use to going to mass.

Good morning everyone. I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. Now starts another busy week. My little guy is signed up for soccer and I get a call on Saturday that there is no coach. 18 kids in all are signed up (enough for 2 teams). So......try and guess who has a bag full of soccer balls in his minivan? I just hope I can get some of the parents involved quickly. As it stands right now, I will be practicing the whole team together and then splitting them up on Saturdays for 2 separate games. I just have to keep reminding myself "it's for the kids".
