whew, I felt the splash all the way over here when Gigantor hit the water........

How is everyone this morning? I've been awake for awhile, although not as early as usual (thanks Tony for letting me sleep a little later), just watching TV in bed...being lazy actually...

Going downstairs to grab some vittles and see what it is like outside...sun is out, just hoping it is cooler

i'm now reading what i missed today.

mic, i am on the chicago disers thread and i found out they were having a mini meet with about 15 people. altogether it was 4 families and a newbie single.

i took a couple of boxes out to meet michelle that had halloween, christmas decorations and odds and ends such as construction paper, stencils, crayons, colored pencils, etc... to her.

we were going to meet up on last monday but it wasn't a good day for me.
so i met her and her family one hour before the meet was to begin in a resturant inside the mall. i put all the stuff in my car to hers. well, she did the moving but i did stand there and showed her the stuff.

they are driving staight down to disney and will be there i think sept 29 to oct 6. i met her from the chgo diser thread.

schaumberg illinois is about the halfway point between us. it took me almost one and one half hours to get there. only about 50 miles but chgo traffic is horrible most of the days.

michelle has a thread up and looking for contributions, ideas, etc. on decorating you disney room door and window.
i donated stuff that i had here that would have gone in the yard sale.

since they are driving down, they have more room than i do in a suitcase to take it to Pop resort. if i took the stuff, and couldn't take all of it, i would then have to get a taxi to get to pop and take her the boxes.

it was much easier to do it while still in illinois.

she has set up a list where once a person is done with the decorations, it is boxed up and left at the front desk with a person's name on it. then they use the decorations and do the same.
disney said this can be done as long as someone will take over the boxes and it has to have a guest's name on the box.

she did a sign up that i think carries to january of people that will take the box. that way, the person packing up the goodies when they check out, can have a name to put on the box. if no name, then disney will trash it all.

she has 6 boxes set up now . i believe she has mailed out 4 of them.
she will add to the boxes with my stuff once she is down there. it turns out all 6 will be left for her as i think there is a one day lapse.

i hope it turns out.

gee, i forgot to put in mickey heads..............

i can mail those to her. but, i am not driving to schaumberg illinois anytime soon. it is a mad house to get there for me.
