i would have posted earlier but if you read my saga, i got home not long ago.


mr mac came back from his kayak trip last night and messed up my morning schedule. .............i did curves in the morning, played mom and cooked breakfast........made son his lunch as he had to work at 10 and then piddled around the house until noon.

then i left.


if i would have known i had coffee here, i would have been here then.



i hope you are not going to ask for sundays and mondays off on coffee duty..............

Mac, that was nice you had a mini-meet...and passed on goodies for decorations....very cool indeed. Sounds like barring the drive and traffic, you had a nice meeting. It's nice to meet face to face with people you have chatted with.

We took poochie for a walk...we thought it had cooled down...well it has somewhat, but it still was kinda hot. Dear poochie is sacked out on the floor now after his excercise..........LOL

I've only done laundry today.....been totally lazy. I need to run errands and was thinking of it today, but decided tomorrow is better. Just didn't feel like getting spruced up to go to town........again ~lazy~

Think I will finish up the laundry and then watch some TV...

we went to the Aquarium today.


I've heard about but never gone before.

it was nice. don't think i'd to drive an hour to it again.


i'm almost ready for my brother and 2 kids to go home.

I love them but the kids are so different that they don't have alot in common.

especially now that they teenagers, they don't want to do anything!!

Who needs tony when you have my mil?!! Seems she likes to call us when we are still sleeping I guess she figures it is time for us to get up!!

I saw the new movie with will farrell in it last night....taladega nights...it was pretty good!

We have my aunt and uncle's 50th wedding ann. party today and then we will go to their house for dinner tonight....atleast i get out of cooking

I'm back...need a t-shirt that sez "I survived I-695" The Washington beltway has nothing on that bad boy, nor the hour long wait on the bay bridge...good think I took a rest stop before that one (see my tag LOL).

Had a wonderful trip, hot as *ell...103 was the coolest day. Funny thing, guess they had a problem w/mosquitos & west nile virus down on assetague (sp) pony island??? With the last few weeks they imported flys to vanquish the mosquitos...unfortunately, they migrated northward & prefer humans. At one point my DS counted 8 on one of my legs....ewwwww! DH developed a fever on the way back, probably from the fly bites; poor guy will probably get malaria now.

Future DIL's grandpa died while we were gone, off to funeral home tonight. She was quite attached to him, called me while we were away, felt so bad. Is it considered poor form to wear a sleveless shirt w/a skirt to a viewing? It's still hot here, don't plan on wearing any hosiery either....I'm such a hussy. No thongs for me, I cannot bear that "wedgie" feeling, gimme grannie panties any day.
