Thanx, if a pic ever deserved a repeat...it'd be this one! Cannot wait until July 7th! When we were stuck in Atlanta on way home, DH whipped out his trusty DVD player (that he said was a waste of money when I bought it

) and soon had most of the concourse watching POC over his shoulder. I passed & went on a hunt for a carmel mocha @ Seattles Best..yum, my new vice.

Not sure if it was the fever or whether I've gone quite mad but, I hung hubby's huge Pirate skull & crossbone flag over the fireplace...sort of a warm-up. Who knows...pillaging of bootie may occur.

Anyone want to pick up a few things @ the grocery store for me tomorrow? Can't bear the thought of putting on "my face" and trudging thru the store. I'm just starting to eat jello & broth. Think I'll lay down the lay to my troops, if you want food; go get it yourself.

Officer Jer (who always seems to keep me on my toes) called from work a while ago & asked to drive to Ocean City, MD, w/buddy for the weekend. I pulled out the response I rarely use...I'm sick, go ask your dad (for permission & money too.) Sometimes this whole divorce thing does have percs.

mac - IL's house(s) sound delightful. Do you enjoy visiting? How's the HHN's planning going? I can't find the web-site...had it bookmarked but, it's on the old computer. Is it linked to the U site?

pam is hot, hot, hot! Is it humid too?

Anyone have big plans for the 4th, we're laying low, DH working midnight shift, will probably half to duck out early of fireworks too.

What's your secret? I've tried nearly all the "fad" diets...even gained weight on Atkins LOL.

Can you believe I live in MD and do NOT like Ocean City? I love the beach too, just not OC. Too crowded, too expensive, too many people, too commercial.....I like Virginia Beach and I LOVE Myrtle Beach. Never have the time to get to Myrtle Beach and Virginia Beach has gotten expensive too...........

Yep, I'm planning on spending my anniversary with Jack Sparrow and crew...I hope I'm not disappointed and enjoy it as much as I did the first one. Sometimes part deux are sucky

I agree, mac, you in-laws home/homes sound beautiful. Maybe in my next life I'll have a summer home

I did atkins, sugar busters, weight watchers, this tuna diet that was great but my friend freaked and said I was gonna get mercury poisoning, and now nutrisystem( which I am about done with I think). I also exercise a lot, stairmachine, actual stairs at work (its too hot now tho) YMCA, walking, even interval running until I got shin splints. I actually lost 64, gained 9 on vacation (can you believeit, who gains 9 lbs on vacation?) I am determined. I still have a ways to go (even after I reach the goal on my ticker, thats an interim goal) After a while I just try something else. I post on the wish board here and am trying to do the exercise goals on there so that helps. This answer is probably longer than you wanted....sorry about that.

KS ~ sorry you're feeling so yucky . Someone needs to be taking care of you . I'd offer, but I'm not quite close enough without a car. I could "borrow" one of my dad's cars, but I'd end up in a ditch . Sorry I can't be of more help. Get well soon

that is remarkable on your weight lose. you should be very proud of yourself. you have to come back and yak sometime.

keisha, it suxs to be sick. i do hope you feel better and if you are only doing broth, you will lose weight.

i have only been to the inlaws place there 2 times in my married life.
we don't talk. haven't seen them in 15 years.
and i have never seen their floridian home. haven't been invited yet,
but they have only been down there for 14 years. have seen pics mr mac showed me. i have a wonderful relationship with them. they don't bother me and i send out the holiday , bd, md, fd, cards faithfully.

I didn't make it to the grocery store last night as my parents came to Noah's game and saw the triple play Noah got then we went out for dinner...by the time we got home we promised the kids we would do some fireworks. by the time that was done i didn't want to mess with the grocery store. So I am off in a little bit to do all my shopping along with the rest of the stinkin' town.

My family is coming over later...i think at 3pm...and then when it gets dark we will go to the ballpark to watch the fireworks.

KS--hope you are feeling better!

My dog was up and down a lot last night wanting out, so I had a very interrupted night's sleep, but I just got up about 15 or so minutes ago, so let's start the day

Oh Pam, a TRIPLE PLAY, that is awesome! I remember when my son had an unassisted double play one time, it was like he had run for President and won.....

I'm sorry about your puppy last night. Gonch has been doing that more and more lately too. It really isnt fun. I liek my dog, but if Im going to get up every two hours, I'd rather it be a baby.
