Hi Muffy and KS...glad you both popped in to say hi.......unlike mac who likes in and out

We got Monday off which I thought was pretty neat, and SO glad I'm employed by the company now so I get PAID for it and the holiday Sometimes there is justice in the universe.

I'm done lunch, took a walk to the mailbox (took the long route ), it is so nice out, I could take a nap in the sun and sunbathe right now........but here I sit, manning my post

Our young officer to be will find something I'm sure, he wants to make a wise choice when it is his future career

OMG...the MIA co-worker just called, I of course answer the phones, she totally doesn't say to me, other than to ask for the owner or officee manager. Not hello how are you, go to heck or THANKS for doing my job for the last 8 weeks Perhaps she is quitting, who knows....

Pam, I guess your 101 degrees is what is coming our way this weekend...cooled off a bit though, only in the 90's they say, guess traveling here it will lose a little steam......

we had the furnace on last night. it got down to 50 degrees.......


and its not hot here now, it's 76

gee, ever since miss muffyjo came on board, i am getting more forgetful....... or more blonder.........

wait, i remembered something.

juju, part of the fam went to kelleys island ohio.
they take ferry over to the island from some city north east in ohio.
kelleys island is south of pelee island......if you go north from that island, you land i canada. the inlaws, mr mac's parents have a summer home there.
they live in florida in a beautiful gated home area most of the year but at KI from memorial day to mid september.
it's a home that has been in the fil 's family since about 1919.
they remodeled the home again. 4 bd, 3 ba, porches, etc. large summer home. they even have a name for it.


i will bop back in later.

i can play n the computer late tonight. unless i get tired and fall asleep

I finally heard about my co-worker...a bit of her problems..seems she had a nervous breakdown....it is rather sad, and I hope she gets the help she needs.

i finally have my house presentible except for my kitchen and I will work on that tomorrow along with aubrey's mess of a room...i tell you for her being so small she sure make a huge mess!

I need to go to the dreaded grocery store after Noah's ball game tonight...nothing like a friday night out at the grocery store....you know when your old when your friday night consist of going to the grocery store

Hi and good evening....

At least I have an idea of why she has been out of work for almost 8 weeks...but I think we all could have been told it was illness, perhaps not that it was mental problems but just that she was "ill" and needed the time off, instead of so much hush-hush and then everyone "speculating" about her. I even in the back of my mind thought she might have gone off the edge and was getting treatment or help. She deals with a lot with her crappy husband & life. Oh well, I know they have to hold a position for her as per law. If it were me, I would just give my notice, not knowing how long I would be in treatment.

Not much going on around here...I think I will go watch some TV..probably fall asleep for 40 winks and then be up later tonight....and I won't care cause I can sleep in tomorrow

I will be joining you at the grocery store Pam, just not tonight, saving it for maybe Sunday.......don't think I feel like hitting it tomorrow.

No, muffyjo I'm not working Monday. Work is closed Monday and Tuesday. Since I have off on Fridays, I only would have had to work Wednesday and Thursday. Didn't want to work on my birthday, and that just left Wednesday. So I just took off the whole week . If it makes you feel any better, my dad has to work on Monday .
