No, muffyjo I'm not working Monday. Work is closed Monday and Tuesday. Since I have off on Fridays, I only would have had to work Wednesday and Thursday. Didn't want to work on my birthday, and that just left Wednesday. So I just took off the whole week ;). If it makes you feel any better, my dad has to work on Monday ::yes::.

Hi mom :wave2:

Enjoy the entire week off!! That is AWESOME!!

Just dropping by before my family gets here! Finally have everything made up and am taking a break. One of my nephews are here, my sil came up early to go and watch her nephew play baseball before she comes here and my nephew didn't want to go so he is here playing with aubrey(they are 2 months apart)

Mic--did you get all those errands done? I took aubrey to the grocery store with me this morning and they were handing out a whole bunch of free flags, and glow jewlery...she was in heaven.

Mac--are you done with your laundry yet?

ocm--have you STARTED your laundry yet?! :teeth:

muffy--malarie love lazy town so she watches it while she feeds the baby here...i for one don't really like it so don't really pay much attention to it....i can do that easy...my tv is on all the time and i can honestly say that half of the time i can't recall what is on it.

jules--yes, what are you going to do for your birthday?

I told Noah good job from all you guys and he is thinking he is pretty popular right now. He says thanks!

Alright well i better go find something else to do before the crew gets here! Have a good weekend everyone!

Two slices???? Just two?????? :teeth: Take a big ole hunk of cake before sending it to her... :rotfl2: Did I ever tell you guys that bakery birthday cake (yellow dough) is my downfall? I LOVE that stuff, and it is really the icing I love the best....I always go for the hunk with the big roses on it.. :lmao: My husband scrapes his off cause he says it is too sweet, so I get all that TOO...............

At 10:35 this morning, my son says "Mom, want to go see Cars"? sure, what time does it start..."11:35, and if we're going I'm going up to get a shower"...ok, I had been up for maybe an hour, and he asks NOW if I want to go to a movie in less than an hour (we live maybe 20 minutes from the theatre), so I take it as a challange to get hair looking presentable, dust the face off with a little powder, dress and be in the car and at the movie on time.........yep, we did it. Haven't dressed that fast in a long time, well dressed to go out anyway :goodvibes I absolutely LOVED the movie. I think it is my favorite Pixar flick now. Toy Story 2 and Nemo always topped my list, but I just loved the characters in this one. Yep, it was good.

Came home, fixed dinner....what was I thinking, we passed um-ti-up restaurants on the way home. But I threw together some chicken on the grill, made mac & cheese and baked beans...so everyone has a full belly.

And wish my ds well. He has never had much luck finding a girl that matched his personality and has always been down on himself that there just wasn't a gal out there for him. Well, he met a gal and they spent all day together yesterday and he has just left to pick her up at her house, which isn't too far away from us. I saw a picture of her and she is a nice looking gal, his exact age and seems to have his interests. I'm hoping for a good connection here so he won't feel there is no one out there for him. I always told him he had to shop around, and one day, Miss Right would just "happen"...if nothing else, comes from it, they are at least enjoying each other's company right now. :sunny: Time will tell

Now that I've eaten, I'm ready for a nap......... :joker: Fireworks are in our town tonight, not sure if we will go see them or not.

Thank you Momma for kind thoughts/words..........I could not forget our coffee drinkers on a Saturday...we don't want them :hippie: due to coffee deprevation :rotfl:

Jules, you are a sweetie, no bad genes at all, and I bet you wear cute jeans too....... ;) :goodvibes

Didn't see you up there Pam, we posted at the same time......

Nope, errand day is tomorrow I think. I was almost thinking of waiting til Monday, but I just want to get it over with...so tomorrow should work.

mic- i hope it works out for your ds and the girl. :grouphug:
so they enjoy each other company's and have fun!

pam- have fun with your party

:goodvibes Howdy all! I've graduated to grilled cheese & tomato soup (if it stays down, I'll be thrilled). I was soooo hungry but, woozy @ the same time. Haven't had a cup of coffee in a week! Think I'm in withdrawal.

mic - hope your DS makes a luv connection:cheer2: friendship 1st, I always stay. Think Johnny Depp needs a friend or two?

muffy - lazy town? must be one of those new kid shows, I'm surprised I survived Barney. Did grow fond of Pokemon & Powder Puff Girls.

pam - Noah is a champ! Bet you're sooo proud.

sweetlovin - figure that the $100 I deposited in DS's account this afternoon will be partied-hardy on in OC. Got the 1st panicked call this a.m. when the room ran more than he & his 3 buddies figured. I told them in OC even the dumps cost a lot of bucks...certainly not like my fav Myrtle Beach where you can get resort OV rooms for less than $100 prime time. Just hope they're on good behaviour - ha! Unfortunately, I remember my youthful escapades all too well.

miz - thanx, I convinced DH to drive me to the grocery store. Unfortunately, the bill was double the usual by the time we left. Reminds me why I leave the "kids" home when I shop.

jules - a bd!:cool1: We all meeting for drinks?

OH KS, sorry you are still under par........but keeping down some soup and grilled cheese :thumbsup2 I'll be thinking good tummy thoughts for you

Yep, we will see about his "connection"...my oldest never had problems with girls, he started bringing them home when he was just a young teen, but the baby here has always been looking for something different in a gal, so I figure the law of averages says sooner or later he will meet Miss Right.

OC is really expensive. I'm surprised they even found a room! We decided many years ago to tag along with friends that were going to OC, so we decided on a "cheaper" motel/room as we figured we would spend most of our time with them and hang out at their hotel...well, the place was not "cheap" although compared to other places it was cheap......NO air conditioning, and the bed sheets had sand in them  I'm just not an OC girl at all. People around here love it there though, it is very popular. I guess it's a 4 to 5 hr. drive from here. Do hope you son and friends have fun though, kids always do find fun......yes, I remember those days ;)

I think LazyTown is weird, but I like Backyardigans which I think is on Nick?? I think its cute. Anyone remember Mousercise on Disney Channel years ago? When the Disney Channel actually showed Disney cartoons and old Disney shows

UUOOOHHHHH.......drinks for birthdays and anniversaries this week  :Pinkbounc
