IMO home daycare is an important job! Is Athome America a franchise ala Pampered Chef? I do Avon on the side - ding dong - mostly because I'm addicted to their bubble bath & go thru cartons of it each month, figure I might as well get it @ cost.

Yes, it is like that...i have been super busy with it, but i told myself that I am taking the summer off with it...some people are okay with that and some people are grouchy...but i figure i am only doing it because i want to get some stuff for 1/2 off if they don't like it then they can go get another persom to do their show

You do avon? have you tried that dual eyes stuff? can't remember what it is called...i am thinking about getting some of that but don't know if i should waste my money on it if it doesn't work all that well!

Pam, can't attest to Avon eye cream, but THE best I've ever invested in and worth every cent is All About Eyes by Clinique. It makes your area under and around your eyes feel wonderful. I faithfully buy it and use it.

Ok, we close the door to customers at 4, so it's 4:15, I've locked the door and here comes some nutty couple......sheesh

I'm not impressed w/any facial cream I've tried (including avon's). Guess when you get as wrinkly as I am you should start using spackle & a trowel.

My mom keeps telling me Preparation H for puffiness:lmao: saw an episode of Bobby Brown show & he had it slathered on his face - okay then.

Do like avon's mascara & waterproof eye liners. I collect snowbabies & they sell them periodically too.

Off to drop off DS @ bb game (2 more to go in regular season). We'll miss 1st week of playoffs next week - dread telling the coach. He's been known to "melt-down", needs a time out (btw, he's a cop).

OK..Confession time!! I'm one of "those" people that walks around in her Jammies. Not that any of you are shocked. :lmao:

If I was in my hotel room, changed into Jammies for the night, but needed ice., I wouldn't think twice about going to the ice machine and grabbing ice in my jammies. I just wouldn't think anything of it. Now, I wouldn't walk out naked or anything, but I don't normally pack a robe, so I wouldn't think to wear one.

Usually, Lee tells me to change or tells me he'll get it, since I'm "not dressed." But, I'm one of those people that just doesn't think about it unless my husband points it out to me.

I'll walk outside in my Jammies too.

Ok I know this was a few days ago but I just had to comment on it (couldn't get on yesterday). I'm one of "those" people too ::yes::. Not so much at home unless I have to go to a convenience store very early or very late (and that rarely happens). Or ocassionaly to walk to the mailbox. But on vacation, definitely. Hey I'm on vacation I don't need to look special for anyone if I don't feel like it. I've been known to go to the ice machine many times in my pjs. Of course it's not as if I'm walking around in lingerie :p

Sounds like all of you are more concerned about puffiness, my issue is circles. Anybody find eye cream for that. Most of the time I look like someone punched me. I know they have that new stuff, but I'm not paying a couple hundred $$ for that!

Probably won't be back tonight have lots of stuff to do.

Sleep Sweet!

Tight game right now Ed...........who will be the first to slip up???? :p

that really takes the cake that someone so evil would steal muffyjo's dd ipod.

that reeks with ugliness. i hope they catch the rat that did that.

eye cream, heck, i don't even moisterize and i really should.......

i say, if i can't eat it, i don't want it or need it.

but then, in a few more years i 'll change my tune.

got the last call from the insurance com at 4:50 today.
all set and they have most of the deductible posted or set to for thursday.

pam, good think cry baby was good this morning. if he/she wasn't, mallory may never want to have a little.

ed, thank you for sharing on eye cream. you will be the contact person when the ladies need the 411 on beauty items.

ocm: you were robbed !!! that is horrible.

pam again, yes, lets go tp them.
i love to have fun.

i don' t think i will be on line in the morning. mr mac will probably scream and yell if he sees me on the computer to yak in the morning.

so i will say my good bye now.

buh bye.

i will try to post when i get home.
surgery changed to 7:30 am now. a tad over an hour for surgery, 30 minutes in recovery more that likely , then come home and just be me and hold my fat cat.

i should be stopping in by noon tomorrow

remember, i love you guys. everyone one of you.
and i am dreading this whole thing tomorrow

:moped:

Morning everyone.......with the new "do" which I asked my stylist to not cut "as short" this time.. it took me like 5 minutes to do my hair, so I've got a couple minutes to spare this a.m.

Glad I stopped by to tell mac we all are thinking of you! Hang in there and you will be fine! Lots of prayers and hugs are coming your way! Best thing is the insurance is straight and you won't have that on your mind when you go in, you can just get it done. Stop by if you feel up to it when it is over to let us know you are OK...........again, good thoughts and lots of love coming at ya!!

I can feel humidity seeping into our air around here. Supposed to be hot by the weekend. Thanks TVT ;) for sending it our way. Glad you guys got rain though. My Mom lives in Florida and she says they have had hardly any over the winter. Those fires are always scary....

Will check in later gang........have a good start to your morning...luv ya :wave2: :surfweb:

Morning Everyone!!

Mac - good luck on the surgery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gals - As far as eye ceram and wrinkle cream I've read and heard on different forums that the best wrinkle cream is perfectionist by Estee Lauder and the best eye cream is clinque called all about eyes. But that was over a year ago, so there may have been a new break through since then.

Bob don't be offended that I forgot you yesterday, I forget everyone at some point.

Morning TVT

Morning Ed

Hi to everyone else. I hope you have a good day.

Morning all!

Hope this hump day find you all a humpin'! :teeth:

Need to get the chillins ready for swim lessions but thought I would check in

Mac--good luck on your surgery!! We will be thinking of you! Check in when you feel upto it!

Mic--isn't the 5 minute hairstyles the best!!! I do that too in the mornings just wash it, blow it and go!! That is the best....i know my hair looks like crap but it's easy!!! That is what I did in Baltimore since it was soooo rainy...i wasn't going to actually fix it and then turn around and have it all flat and sticky from the products i use....it would be worthless!

Ocm--thanks for the eye cream hint! I just noticed the other day that my eyes are starting to droop...can't have that now!!!

Ed--I am going to start coming to you for beauty advice....hmmmm....what products should i use on my hair?! :teeth:

muffy--that is awful that your dd's ipod got stolen...those are NOT cheap and for the person that stole it i hope it was worth it to her/him....now they will have that on their consiences.....

KS--how many ballgames do you have this weekend?

adam--have you been way busy or what? Hope you have time to check in soon!

jules--how is that eye of yours?

deena--when is the next trip for you?

bob--hope you had a great trip!!! Remeber you have to tell all about it!!!

If I forgot anyone it is not because you aren't important...it is because I am blonde...that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

morning all

pam- you impress me everyone morning :goodvibes
maybe one day i can remember everything & post as well as you :thumbsup2

see, know i forgot what i was going to say :lmao:

mac- good luck with the surgery. we'll all be thinking of you
and waiting to hear from you :grouphug:

ed- thanks for the advice. can you now come and help
me clothes shopping? :teeth:

mic- glad you lie your new do. now you have more time for the computer!

ocm- thanks for the eye cream. you pushed me to finally go get something

ks- do you have a nice tan from watching all these ballgames?

have a good day all :wave2:

Oh no..I got dibs with Ed for clothes shopping!! He'll give me an honest opinion. :thumbsup2

Pam - I HATE droopy eyes. I have the circles, more because of not getting enough sleep. I really noticed it after I had Sammie. Babies do nothing for the female body. :sad2:

I need more anti aging and wrinkle cream, I ran out.

OK, so I hired a new maid today. She asked why I fired the other one, what the other one did wrong. I said, the other one was great. She cleaned very well, when she showed up. ;)

So, we will see how this goes.

My favorite Aunt is coming in tomorrow night. :cool1: :cool1:   I'm wicked excited to see her. I've missed her so much.

Glad you are "wicked" glad the good Aunt is coming to visit, and not having a "wicked aunt" show up :goodvibes we have a keeper of an Aunt too, she is 88 and still going strong. She helped so much with our boys when they were little, they loved staying with her. She also took care of my dh and his siblings when they were little ones, so she has some experience :thumbsup2

Yep, as I mentioned and Momma mentioned, All About Eyes is THE cream. I swear by it and I've tried others and love it. It just makes the skin surrounding the eyes so soft.

Ed, what a bummer last night...I got up to see the score :furious: Pitchers duel I guess that ended up with us on the wrong end of the stick

I am a humpin' too............whoppee for Wednesday :cool1: :cool1:

I want a day off...I want to go shopping.......LOL......wonder how that would fly??? :dance3:
