Today is Connor's first day of school. The cryfest continues, lol.

((HUGS)) Deena!!! I'm sure when I drop Sammie off I'll be sad too. I know I wont be sad with Julie..that child is sooo happy when she is dropped off at school.

I really thought I would cry with Nico and I didn't. I wasn't thrilled when the bus driver pulled off with Nico still not in his seat so you could see him fall over the seat. But he was so cute waving goodbye. I did take pics with him and I was busy dealing with Julie who kept asking if she could go with him on the bus. And then when the bus left without her, she started crying.

She is ready for her school to start for sure.

Have an extra salad for me this week, I'm not eating. Not until the weight comes off.

Jayne - thanks for the kind words. It's nice of you to say that. I thought the same thing about you. You looked great when we went to lunch. That was a really good time. We'll have to meet up again when I get back up there.

TVT - there are NOT going to be guys lined up at the door. But my life will be so much more peaceful once he is out of the house. He said it becuase it was true, I have gained weight. Anyway..I'm not even sure I know how to date or get a guy to notice me enough to ask me out. Plus..I'm making up the applications that they are going to have to fill out before i will even consider saying yes.

Pam - we will try to figure out what you are saying whenever you get a chance to get on here. I hope your comp gets fixed soon.

Oh..then I really hope you get the airline tickets worked out. Laguardia airport really isn't much of a vacation. I spent 9 hours there once, no fun at all.

Dave is bummed--he found out that he will not get to go to
branson with us. I guess the big wigs are going through his territory next thurs and fri and so he has to work on it

Deena, I bet it was hard to see the little one off this morning, a new adventure for him I'm sure....and yes 6:30 comes early everyday, I know what you mean about getting up in the middle of the night...Monday's are always hard, as I get out of sync with staying up and sleeping late on the weekends.........first day's of school are always harder on Mom than the kids I think.

pam - don't you feel stifled when your computer's on the fritz? So sad for your DH, always wanted to go to Branson (even though I'm not a C&W fan).

deena - best wishes, find some chocolate or cheesecake - always works for me! Better yet, think about that cruise you've got coming up. We canceled our 7 day one we scheduled for 12/07 & booked the Wonder for 4 nights same time period. I'm afraid to leave mom (even w/older sons) for so long...she gets antsy.

mac - when you heading back to school?

ocm - I imagine dancers are very cognizant of their body shape. I lost control over my once svelte figure when I had my fertility issues about 15 years ago (secondary infertility). Lost count @ 10 miss's, think I gained 5 pounds w/each & never lost it. Then I quit smoking, 3 times.

In my neck of the woods it's all the rage to eat yourself to 75 pounds over fighting weight, then have gastic bypass - almost a status symbol. Lot of moms in the area & all the workers @ salon I go to have (but, they still drink like fishies & sock away the pizza @ lunchtime - must have started to stretch out their tummies again).
DH would murder me if I considered it...he's in garage lifting weights & getting ready to resume digging clay hillside...before he goes to work this afternoon.
