I found my tongue:banana: or, can't keep a big mouth shut.

nico's a cutie! So are bob's kiddos - wish my ds had worn uniforms to school, even though our parochial school didn't have a dress code (before the diocese pulled the plug). I do recall my oldest DS in 3rd grade being sent home for wearing moc-croc cowboy boots to school (they said it was distracting - he kept saying he was Axel Rose of GNR fame:rotfl2: . Only time I got called to the office for him.) I won't bore you with tales of the other two;) . Dh sez the only reason I volunteered @ school was to be there before the phone call came.
Saw a bit about marie osmond last week on one of the gossip shows. In the last year or so, her hubbie got a brain tumor (& recovered), her house burnt down (w/all her Donnie & Marie show memoribilia), her mother died & she's been in & out of the hospital for various issues...a shame. Think it's another case of a child star being thrust into spotlight, etc...even though they did have that religious upbringing. Awful part of interview is she was standing in front of hundreds of those collector dolls she hawks. They're scary in multiples, their eyes follow you. small world on crack.

KS, you and I are kindred spirits...I too was at the school so I could be prepared for "that" phone call each school year...my oldest was my mischievious one...#2 never got in trouble....like night and day, but yet at times so much alike. Both have different personalities, but both are more like me than their dad........they have him in them, but they just are more like me. Although they both are smart and I'm not sure where that came from.. :lmao: :confused3

That story of the Guns n Roses boots is hilarious! Too funny...I used to help out as an aide for my son's, and you would be surprised by the "things" kids would tell you....sometimes too darn funny, then other times sad.

Speaking of fairs, eons ago, when we were first married we trotted off to the fair with visiting relatives, a whole gaggle of family went...the men decided to go see the hoochie coochie girls  :rolleyes2 and I was so mad at him.........today I could care less........guess 33 yrs. together lets you loosen up a bit........ :rotfl:

you gals are a hoot. i'm rolling on the floor in stitches !!

i got call waiting so the school could reach me when the boys were being boys.

totally embarassing.............

:dance3: hoochie coochie, didn't Charo say that? (the young'uns will have to do a wikipedia seach on that one)...she's on gieco commericals...I should look that hot now, let alone @ whatever age she is.

Now that I have caller ID, I get to see the calls coming:teeth: .

LOL KS, Charo (who by the way is 65 :faint: years old) said the phrase:

cuchi, cuchi.............which obviously is different than a hoochie coochie gal performing at the fair........bwhahahahahahahahahaha :rotfl2: :lmao: You crack me up and make me post the silliest stuff in reply... :rotfl: :rotfl:

That is what I love about "us"...we is funny peeps

I am now waiting for the twins to ask or say "I don't know her" :rotfl2: :lmao: Those twins sure are fun to tease...........they are just too darn young to remember the good stuff......hang around us for awhile and we'll fix you up to win any TV Trivia game......... :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Being silly is serious business in my book:thumbsup2 .

I'll bite as to worthless trivia...Charo was married to a famous cuban/latin bandleader, Xavier Cugat (rather dashing, if you like that sort of distinguished older man)

wonder what cuchi, cuchi means...

probably, give me all your money

Charo is a very good spanish guitarist...one my my dear departed dad's favorites...
he loved her for her obvious talent:banana: .

KS, we are serious about our silliness :joker:

I tried to translater cuchi cuchi from Spanish to English...........cuchi cuchi means cuchi cuchi........... :rotfl: It must be Charo speak...yes, I remember :crazy2: when she married Cugat, he was a good deal older than her, but again I guess the cuchi cuchi was good enough for her... :rotfl:

Cugat was a notorious womanizer. He had four wives and always put attractive women in his groups. He gave Rita Hayworth one of her first jobs, and later appeared with her in the film "You Were Never Lovelier."His Mercury recordings of the 1950s often featured his then-wife (#3), blonde bombshell and singer Abbe Lane. In the mid-1960s, he took another blonde (with the aid of chemistry) under his tutelage, and the result this time was Charo--who appeared in skin-tight gold lame pants and stiletto heels, billed as a folk singer.

billed as a folk singer............... :rotfl2: :p he was born in 1900, so he was 40 yrs. older than her...just think, if he was alive he would be 106 to her 65.... :teeth:

I haven't watched Dog the Bounty Hunter in awhile, so I put it on this evening.........seriously, his new bride needs a fashion intervention :crazy2: and if they were after me, he wouldn't scare me as much as she would......... :teeth:

dog_bountyhunter.jpg

i need to google cuchi cuchi........maybe i will ask son later to translate but i think mic's translation is the best........ :rotfl2:

son that is going back to college hasn't packed anything yet.
we leave 4:45 am on thursday and he works tue and wed afternoon until 10 pm.

as long as he packs his undies and socks, he wil be good to go.....

i remember cugart and abbe lane........and blondie #4......

mac, the internet is a plethora of info when one needs it :lmao:

And chances are extremely good that we haven't heard the last of this cuchi thing, either. It started when, at age 3, she tried to say the name of her dog, Cuchillo, Spanish for knife. "He was shaking all over," she said, demonstrating. "OK, I figured out, there is some business here." So then I go 'cuchi, cuchi, cuchi.' It had nothing to do with sex." But it made her famous, Charo said with a laugh, and "the poor dog died alone."

tell your son to cuchi cuchi and get those socks and undies packed... :thumbsup2

i'm awake, i'm awake...............

that sounded like a school bell tony......

have to leave within the hour for the foot doc.
have that repeat surgery today.

and i don't like it at all.

see you later homies.
have fun today.

i have an excuse not to clean up this dump now for the next few days so it can't be all that bad.......... :teeth:

CLANG, CLANG GLANG WENT THE TROLLEY.....oh, that is some old song that is stuck in my head :rotfl: thanks Tony, I needed a good clanging this morning to get rolling

Mac, good luck today with your foot :grouphug:

I want to see everyone drop in today and give us a yell........we worry when the crew is absent for too long :flower3:

It has gotten humid around here again......blech :guilty:

So momma, how did the first day of school roll for Nico? and Deena, how was Evan? My grandson started school back on July 28th, so you guys really got a break! He is doing well so far...so far being the phrase to watch :goodvibes

Off to work I go.............

Nico did ok. He likes his school a lot it seems. It's only the first day, but so far so good. I had a little scare when the bus didn't show up until almost an hour after school got out. But, he came off the bus fine and happy to see us all.

He was so sweet. He asked Julie how her day was and when she told him we took Sammie to the Dr he was very concerned about Sammie. He kissed Sammie when he found out she had to get shots. Then this morning we all walked with him to wait for the bus and he hugged Julie, then Sammie, and then me and told us to have a good day.

He is such a sweet guy.

Ok..mommy brag over..sorry.
